Everyone could see that, I was surprised the coach kept him up to the 2nd half.
kennysville:

Onuachu out.... for 1 or 2 reasons. He lacks pace and doesn't contribute anything to the cause of the team. When ball gets to him he gets dispossessed by players half his size

"Gotten the result they wanted"

Saying the boys played well will not kill you. It is lies that is toxic
.

I wonder ooo. May be he doesn't know SA want to win too

But let be honest with ourselves. Iheanacho, Onoacho had no need starting this game. Onyedika should not be on the bench at least. Finidi gambled cool

No they did not, what happened when the result was in balance, the better team dominated, reset the match and you'll get the same result
I mean they set up better than us. They lost their heads after we equalized. Individual brilliance na him mostly help us not because of Finidi tactical masterclass.

Moffi that replaced him is another Mumu. Osimhen is our top striker, we need to accept that

And now that Osimhen is not available nko? I think we need to stop this school of thought. Osimhen list loads of chances at the Afcon. We no swear for am. We need to take our international windows serious and play good friendlies with top opponents and not mediocre countries. Blame this also on our clueless NFF

I just saw the chance Moffi fluffed, my gracious God, how do these players score all those goals at their clubs and stink up the joint whenever they play in national colors? Chei!

We talk about the depth of strikers we have, but players like onuachu keep getting callups. When I'll give up on this coach is if he starts Onuachu next match.
Onuachu is the most useless striker I've ever seen in the SE

Fisayo's goal is that unpredictability we need from all our forwards. I was thinking he was going to pass but bang!

There's a reason Iheanacho spent all his prime years in Leicester only to settle for been a second and third fiddle to old man Vardy and the Zambian dude...I haven't seen a more lazy player like Nacho before...shebi his contract with Leicester has ended? let's see how he will get too comfortable in a new club.

He press like 2 people but we still need Pks to beat SA at the AFCON. Our problem is not lack of pressers like Osimhen. in fact we do not need a forward to press like two players, as long as they can all press as a unit. Today we needed intensity in attack from start to finish.. we left it late.

hatakekakashi:
Osimhen is clear of all our strikers in every way. His best attribute is that he presses like 2 people.

Yup. I said exactly the same thing on Twitter. That was a clear penalty every day and twice on Sunday. And I hope that the NFF will file a petition for that missed call.

I was surprised that a game of that magnitude didn’t have VAR.

O pari

The NFF are the ones meant to provide the facilities and infrastructure for VAR and insist on VAR..

It is the incompetence of the NFF that there was no VAR in this match.

So it will be foolish of the NFF to file a petition just to hide their incompetency.

in the Next matches on monday
we must beat Benin to climb to the top with 8pts then pray make Zimbabwe draw or lose to SA or make Zimbabwe win SA.
then make Rwanda beat lesotho or draw with lesotho.
With this we can comfortably sit at the top fof the group till 2025
just imagine calculation don start🤣🤣🤣

If we started the match with the guys that ended it, we will win resoundingly and there shouldn't be any doubt about that. We gotta understand that we are moving away from sitting at home and hitting on a counter. Right personals matter a lot. If we are to be honest and not put square pegs in round holes

Bro, I struggled to see what he offers that made the coach left him on the pitch that long. He lost almost all his aerial duels if not all.

So if osimhen no Dey ,our oda strikers no fit bite …it’s high time we stopped been delusional about having d best striking force in eagles 🦅

I won’t blame finidi totally ,y dt moffi mumu no score .den Sodiq shld have started at d right back, while tanimu stays in d central defense (tanimu was okay today, despite playing out of position…he tried, semi ajayi too was a bit slow but grew into the game…finally d group is still very open 😎

Beating Benin gives is 5pts? smiley

You don't need to rely on anybody's result at this point. Just play to win.

I expect the match against Benin to be very stop-start as per Rohr na mujahideen football advocate
