Eriokanmi: ^^^ No he isn't being sarcastic. I watched the interview and the volte face is shocking - but it is shocking only to the naive and the unschooled. Those of us who know what politicians are capable of - are always ready for stuff like this. Bode George is here making excuses for BAT despite clear evidence of widespread economic mismanagement across the board. This is the same way people made excuses for Buhari in his first couple of years. Where are those people today? Bode George is telling us that a government should not be assessed until it has spent over 720 days in office? What does that even mean? |

Re: Bode George: Nigerians Should Give Tinubu One More Year To Fix Nigeria by Awesome01(m): 6:22pm On Jun 07 |
Giving him one more year is not really our problem, neither are Nigerians impatient people. But the problem is that we had done that several times in the past which didn't work out for the people. President Jonathan told us to be patient that he will fix it. What happened? It became BAD. President Buhari came and said "be patriotic and patient, we will fix everything." Yet it went from BAD to WORSE. Now another President (Tinubu) is saying "Be patient, I know things have been very bad and worse, but We will fix it. You will enjoy Nigeria again. You have not suffered in vain. Wait, Be patriotic, give me time to fix everything". We said Okay. But one year after he gave all those sweet promises. It became obvious that it is now WORST. One day soon, that our patience will dissappear totally, and all hell will be let loose. ONE DAY. MONKEY GO GO MARKET, HE NO GO COME BACK. 1 Like |

JudasNaKarrot: You talked too much on top being confused. Was Bode George settled or was it because of tribalism? If all Yorubas are supporting Tinubu because of tribalism, what happened to other tribes from speaking against him? I guess Falana is not a Yoruba man |
Re: Bode George: Nigerians Should Give Tinubu One More Year To Fix Nigeria by phemray(m): 9:33pm On Jun 07 |
lexy2014: Lolz, what is the definition of your competency? How do know someone that is competent? Did you expect Nigeria issues to be resolved in one year? I can see people don't really understand a lot of things about capacity to identify opportunities and solve problems. This is reality and practical not argument. Tinubu is goal getter no matter what. The records are many. Unfortunately if you are expecting a miracle turnaround of the country overnight under 6 months, it will never happen under any government, even military. Our system is completely rotten with the 1999 military constitution we are using. Nigeria will be very ok soon, am so confident of that. |

phemray: That is not what I asked you. 1. are you saying that when tinubu was shouting "emilokan" up and down, he had absolutely no idea what he wanted to in the office he wanted to occupy? 2. are you saying you voted for an incompetent person to occupy a sensitive office as that of the president of nigeria? 3. If he was incompetent before becoming president, what do you think will make him competent by giving him another year? 4. can you employ an incompetent mechanic to fix your car or an incompetent driver to drive you to your destination? 5. can you employ an incompetent bricklayer to build your house and you say they need time to learn the job while they work on your car and house? 6. why can the price of dollars and things not come down? what made them to go up in the first place? 7.if tinubu knows the solution, how come inflation and exchange rate are at an all time high? 8. what is his "system and method" that he did in lagos that makes you believe he will surely fix most issues in nigeria? 8. what is it that he is fixing? did buhari not fix everything? |

lexy2014: Oga thank you for your fantastic questions. Tinubu has template already for solving Nigeria problems and that is what is implementing. Don't let's be emotional at this. It's not necessary that it favours you now or not but the overall results. his template and strategy will never be in the public since it's his personal effort and most politicians or opposition can steel the idea. Lolz His solution is to implement back the original constitution of 1960, allow each zones to manage Thier resources and local government to get back Thier autonomy. This requires legislations and he has the network. It's funny most people don't know why he returned back the old national anthem and what has been going on. The economy will be fine. For your mechanic analogy, I don't know why and how you choose your own mechanic when Auto center of your car brand is available. For you to be competent in anything in life, you must be trained and certified by the authority, not roadside or acclaimed. In all, Tinubu is certified at distinction level, tested, confirmed and trusted in capacity and results delivery. If you don't know does not mean others don't know. We know. On the dollar, just check dollars from 1960 till date and draw an algorithm. But for me whatever value of dollar that will make nigerians prosperous is well come. No miracle, prepare and adjust to the realities. |
