This is how we should start. I'm okay with Chukwueze coming from the bench.

I would rather of Onyeka when fit, than Yusuf come in
That second 11 is ok attack wise but I prefer Bassey in central defence. Maybe Awaziem or even Sodiq will start at RB while Bright moves to LB.

Finidi George on Victor Boniface;

"Allow us to do our jobs."

"We wanted to introduce Boniface and Moffi, but Semi had a knock and we had to take him off and introduce Moffi and Onyedika.

"The fans and media would shout for different players, if they don't perform well, the shout will be, take him off. Allow us to do our jobs."
When you don't do your job properly, na the fans go teach you.

No rational coach will bench Boniface for Onuachu. Baba dey use knock as excuse.

Solace captured it well

Rubbish - 😔 all action midfielder.

He is too poor to be in the SE , he is simply a water 💦 carrier that huffs and puffs but doesn't blow any House 🏠 down.

No inventive and creativity in his game AT ALL plus very very limited sorry 😐 no skill.

Tell me how many goals he has scored in his entire professional career please 🙏🏿 ❓ 74 games in Belgium league 3 goals 🥅 CHEI.

You are trailing in the game you need goals and you don't bring on a player like Onyedika who can battle in midfield has aerial dominance and can drive the team forward.

After this one good point , the doubters now knows what the fuss plus fuss is about Fisayo he is a baller. Right from his Manchester city days.

I wonder oo
He had 3 chances to shoot at goal

Because he is woeful and highly inconsistent at it.

However other aspects of his game are top notch undoubtedly the most creative and inventive midfielder in the SE.

If Moffi had spent as much time as Onuachu today., the outcome would have been different.

The ref is terrible mehn... that foul on Bashiru was a penalty. It was even one of the easiest decisions. Like the South Africa player went sliding, missed the ball and hit Bashiru. The decision didn't even need VAR to confirm.

It is not. I have always loved the atmosphere in SA, maybe due to their stadiums. We always play better in SA. Still remember Uche Nwofor's backheel

Is there any evidence to backup your statement because from the stats SA have not lost in any of their last 3 visits to Nigeria but magically we will be favorites in their home turf?

Ndidi is calm but if he must play then play him as either a defender or play home closer to the attackers As a DM ...he has badly regressed. Seems like it's been coached out of him . He was largely pedestrian

It's a reoccurring theme once most of our players get near to 30 standards just seem to drop rapidly.

Ndidi was once one of the top DM in the EPL but that looks like ancient history now 😦 he has regressed.

I think you could actually move Dele to a RF role similar to Lookman on the other wing. Have Iwobi just in front of Yusuf and Onyedika. You get a lot of midfield control that way. Lookman, Dele and the strikers would need to shoot sha

The most insightful contribution so far.

Chukwueze should have been introduced earlier.... He did a lot within few minutes he came in. Look man and chukwueze should man the wing in d next game

Chukwueze however, what l don't understand professional player cannot execute 😕 a very basic cross ❌ why ❓

His end product and reading of the game poor, but he is way way better than KC 😔

Well, we have the chance to top our group on Monday. let's just win Benin CONVINCINGLY because the whole thing might go down to GD at the end of the day.

The most shocking thing I read here yesterday was some peeps mentioning Jose Peseiro. Like was he not the one who drew the first two matches? I dey ask abeg Matches we ought to have won on a normal day. Baba denied us an AFCON trophy by listing almost 5 injured players in that final match when capable and fresh replacements are on the bench.

We played better in the second half, to be frank.... Iwobi and Moffi missed some chances to win the game..

I hope Finidi won't make the mistake of starting Iheanacho and Onuachu against Benin....

They should never have been in the team in the first place.

I don't know why they couldn't invite Elijah Adebayo instead of that Onuachu big 4 nuttin

Awaziem is calamity he should not even be in the team. He has no pace and has very limited quality.

Go and check ✅ his relegation team Boavista that just escaped relegation by his difference . They are very poor that percentile of the Portuguese league.

But what is shocking as poor as the team is , check how many games Awaziem played it's shocking.

We keep recycling washed out player's why ,it was obviously obvious that KC had a poor season and is not in form. Why invite him ❓

Make una calm down, I initially never believed in Finidi and his team and wasn't expecting any promising football ab initio, but I saw enough good football in that second half against SA that looked very exciting. Both teams on balance of created several goal scoring chances, but I feel we marginally nicked the better scoring chances...

Against Benin 🇧🇯, there's no question that Lookman must be paired upfront with Boniface.. Midfield should be Iwobi/Bashiru (if fit) and Onyeka.

Osimhen, PSG is on pole! Il Mattino : "Direct contacts ADL-Al-Khelaifi"

De Laurentiis is in personal contact with the PSG leaders (excellent relations with Al-Khelaifi) and a solution will be reached in a couple of weeks

The turning point in Napoli's summer transfer market is linked to the sale of Victor Osimhen : according to Il Mattino, Aurelio De Laurentiis is in personal contact with the PSG top management (relationships with Al-Khelaifi are excellent) and a solution will be reached within a couple of of weeks also to be able to set up the other incoming negotiations.

For the Nigerian, PSG is in pole position , followed by, in no particular order, the big Premier League teams such as Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United. This is also why Lukaku must wait, even if Chelsea does not intend to make the same discounts as Roma and the operation seems plausible only if Chelsea is the destination for Osimhen. Meanwhile, yesterday the rumors about the Arab temptation also resurfaced for the Nigerian .

I hope our coach knows that Ndidi can play CB.
I expect him to pair Ndidi and Bassey at CB against Benin Republic.
Awaziem can slug it out with Osayi for the RB role.
Sodiq Ismail can take the LB role. He is a very good crosser of the ball.

I expect to see Onyedika,Yusuf and Iwobi as his midfield pivot.

Boniface should start as CF with Lookman and Chukwueze flanking him.

Bashiru impressed me,He is a proper baller.

Aside Osimhen, I am not impressed with any of our CF
Maybe it's high time we invite Elijah Adebayo of Luton town.

Dessers
Moffi
Umar
Onuacho are not SE material.

See the unforgivable chance Moffi wasted in the 18 yard box.

Ndah,Igbo,Osho should make the squad list for the next games.

Finidi George must do better in his team list invitation and squad game selection.

We must beat Benin Republic to brighten our chances of WCQ

Next game that is on Monday, ahbi I am not getting it ooo

Correct. Isaac Success scored 2 good goals that were both ruled offside, the ref later apologized after the match

Onuachu had a good game for someone without service. If he had missed opportunities like the one Moffi did I would understand the complaints

What would you say about the tame header?

However I agree with you. For Onuachu to thrive the wings must be well oiled for low crosses/cutbacks. The right wing had Iheanacho and Tanimu, square pegs in round holes.
