Is it by force to eat eggs?
Here in the north, some northerners are using awara in place of meat and fish. I have eaten it and I can testify it makes sense.

Once there is demand for a direct substitute for a commodity. The price of that close substitute starts shooting up till it level up with the price of the main commodity. The price of that your Awara won't remain the same in the upcoming days.

Na mumu dey behind that account, probably one of the vultures of babablu.

Maybe, government should make minimum wage to be 5,000 naira so that the Ebola farmer will sell his crate of egg for 200 naira.

Right now egg is no longer affordable when compared with price in recent years, egg roll now cost #350. So if people actually see Awara as like for like substitute for egg, there will be more demand for it.

Soyabean is a better source of protein than egg and beef.

Obviously his is an APC supporter them and economics are enemies

One thing is to put a price another is for people to buy

Sale yours for 10k another man sales for 4k only you would buy
A single man can't dictate market forces

undecided if we talk now they Wil say we worship the whites. Why wud a country be using the same template for minimum wage. USA uses different templates for minimum wage same as in Germany. My sister in Indiana told me their own minimum wage is $12 per hour while in California it's $16. It shows that each state pays it's own minimum wage based on it's economy potential. But in Nigeria the govt is fixing same minimum wage for a worker in Ekiti or zamfara and the ones in Lagos or Rivers. C'mon. Let each state fix it's own minimum wage. But before that can be effective,we must return to Regional govt.

Mk we dey play dey go until then.

Propaganda by government agents, price of eggs is not fixed by farmers or traders but by market forces.

Chai..

In Naijay-Area, those at the top are just using the people's brain.

NLC & co say they're fighting to increase minimum wage so that workers and other mumu masses can praise them.

But the NLC & co know that it won't change a thing.

Price of things will keep going higher, and when will they ask for increase in minimum wage again?

That will be after several years even when Tinubu must have left seat. Pure water by then must have been N100.

They're about to enrich further those who collect money on several ghost workers

Let's tackle the main problem which is transparency and corruption!!!

Don't mind the illiterate. He doesn't understand economic forces–supply, demand and price.

Comments here are very funny sha. When the minimum wage is increased, you lot will still expect the farmer to increase the wage paid to his workers whilst expecting him to maintain same price thus maintaining same profit made on sales. How do you lots even think in this country. Erryman just dey think of his own basic needs without critically analysing what will favour errybody.

Total profit made when minimum wage was 30k was 100k
Pays his two workers 60k, takes 30k himself and plows back 10k into the business.

Later you increase the minimum wage to 60k and you expect him to maintain the same 100k profit ??
Una normal for this country sef ??

We all know prices of everything increased because of exchange rate, how these sets of people think that increased minimum wages will increase prices of commodities is what I don't understand

Truly Nigerians are their own enemy.
