Bitterkola100: You're a total clown, I don't think you're living in this planet, for you to ask for a link of something that was trending shows you're not living in this planet. I am not Igbo, but just come out plain and say that you hate them stop saying I am Edo and all that, and their victim mentality is this and that. Where you not breathing when everywhere was going agog just because Air peace hostesses wore isiagu on their first flight to England? |

The reason there's no outrage is because people have seen it once and gotten used to it. First time factor is no longer there. I can't wait for Yoruba airlines to roll out the show-stopper Gbariye&Abetiaja for men and Iro&buba&gele for the ladies plus our Iyun of course, |

Religious sentiments Don eat deep into this country. It even creates more divisions amongst citizens. Any day we take out religion in our dealings with each other, then we would be headed towards a better nation |

![]() ![]() I will be concerned to board Azman air because I don't want a situation where someone will just shout Allah Akbar and then boom! Any time I'm going to Kano, I will board Arik Air or any other available flight. I don't want a hostess to look At me and be angry just because I'm a Christian |

Wearing hijab is just an illustration of Islamic culture. Where on earth is it a crime to demonstrate culture biko? |
Re: Azman Air Hostesses Dressed In Hijab (Photos) by Wickedlywicked: 10:52am On Jun 08 |
PaNnamdi:Itās even hard for you to believe Iām not a muslim because of my stance and thatās a sagacious trait thatās found everywhere else except the South East. The fact that I donāt like both Muslims for not condemning the fanatics among them will never erode my commonsense and sense of judgement and thatās what makes me a higher human than your entire clan. Again, Iām not here to support or oppose anyone but common sense. Iām particularly concerned about why someone would purposely post a false narrative just to stir some ethnic controversy. Again, their dressing was in compliance with the rules of their destination country and not the status quo but the poster made it look like thatās how they are always dressed which is false and to justify Air peaceās bigotry (forcing his ethnic groupās cultural dress on his staff) a move that would be heavily criticized by you (ibos) if other tribes tried it (e.g Azman Air or Kanem Air staff wearing the Fulani mutakare) I know your reasoning defies logic and will still not understand this simple and broken-down explanation but I pray you understand it this time. |
Re: Azman Air Hostesses Dressed In Hijab (Photos) by Wickedlywicked: 11:02am On Jun 08 |
longleg:Thatās not even what happened in that picture. The poster knew what he was doing. Iām not a Muslim but if you check their page, you will see that they were dressed that way because of their flight to Saudi for haj and itās not their standard dress. The OP was trying to give the airline an ethnic bigot coloration which is wrong because their dressing didnāt define one particular tribe and as such, he failed in his effort to vindicate Airpeaceās action. In short, they are incomparable because one airline was being bigoted for asking his hostesses to be dressed in his own TRIBAL outfit (Airpeace) while the other was being compliant by asking his staff to be dressed in that outfits for that particular flight and in compliance with the rules of their destination country, Saudi Arabia (Azman). Now, the question is: would the ibos not cry heavily and complain if Azman or Kanem Air (both owned by northerners) asked their hostesses to be dressed in mudukare and hijab? (That sleeveless shirt worn by Fulani women) or a Yoruba man airline ordering his staff to be dressed in iro and buba? Hypocrisy is when someone condemns that same thing he does or would do if he has the chance and ibos are the true definition of that. |
