you made an intelligent contribution in a useless forum filled with the most stupid animals on earth. See how they ridiculed you even without understanding what you said.
Who are you, calling your fellow human beings, created in the image of God, (the most stupid animals on earth). I ask you to repent now, failure by which i call on God their creator to fire your mouth with thunder.

Not much when you consider that it has to be delivered fresh. Such a job ties you down to the banana tree and the tree must be disease free to avoid poisoning the meal being wrapped. That's small money over there considering the stress and value associated with fresh leaf wrapped food.

You mean 30k for banana leaf is too small?

Hmmm .... they didn't say the leaves were organic .... like the ones in Africa. Since they didn't say then we should conclude they are not ... that they are genetically modified. It is most likely they are modified to remain "fresh" for a long time .... . modified to be disease free ... modified to remain green ... etc. Ask yourself why perishable lettuce ... grapes .... strawberries .... picked fresh at a farm ... sorted and loaded ... stored.... transported to airport ... exported .... stored again upon arrival ... picked up and distributed by wholesalers .... stored at their warehouse .... bought and picked up by retailers .... then taken to market and sold as "fresh"... with all this time ... why haven't they by now become spoilt? They have been modified to grow thicker skin to remain "fresh" for long periods.

When I saw this at the store a few days ago, I was not surprised. It's mostly likely from the Caribbeans . It will be a difficult task to get them delivered fresh from Africa,

No place like Africa

You think this is African banana right .? No way. Go and check north and south American banana farming. Or Asians then have a rethink.

No country rely on African for fresh fruits supply. Check well

Africa is business with agriculture.
God made things easier for African. Food and natural resources is not Africa problem. The only problem we Africa have, we are not educated enough to package or keep material in order. Also bad leadership control by the western added more wasted to Africa. Thanks

I swear, I always wonder about that whenever I eat them. Especially those "tender grapes".
I just know deep within me that something is not right about them.

The amount people are willing to pay for any goods is dependent on the value they attach to such goods. What's the value an average African placed on those commodities you listed above?

I was watching a food channel on YouTube one time, and the British chef was making a Thai dish that required being wrapped with a banana leaf.

So, when he did, another chef made a comment about him "wasting a large sheet of expensive banana leaf", and I was like "Huh!? The same banana/plantain leaves that are common here?"

Then, I went on to check the price on Amazon, and see what I found👇🏼

WOW! That's amazing. Sincerely, Africa is blessed with a lot of natural resources.

We hope to get good and selfless leaders some day.

But in Naigerian they have dumped banana leaves used in wrapping food for contamiated plastics "waterproof" as they call it in Naigeria. Every food item in Naigeria has being contaminated with plastic, people eat %000.01 of plastic everyday without knowing
