Ndidi's early days in the SE were his best period till date.

I remember his strong performance vs Cameroun in Uyo back in 2017. Excellently solid he was.

And he was brilliant too vs Iceland at the 2018 WC. Against Argentina too, Ndidi did very well although we lost.

Against Brazil in 2019, he was excellent as well.

Truly he has regressed but let us not allow recency bias make us forget how wonderfully solid Ndidi was for us in his early SE days.

Why must we depend on ndidi despite his shortcomings? Same thing we did to Mikel inspite of his lukewarm style of play that led us to nowhere till he hung his boot. Why do we have to rely on one player most time when there are options in abundance?

If I talk then go say HATE .

I said years ago KC can never play wing he is too.slow and doesn't have the technical ability and or skills to play wing.

I've said several times he had been out of form for over three seasons. He should not be in the SE .

He was an embarrassment yesterday.

Emeka is talking about Taminu, but your bitter leaf juice loving self jumped to KC...... I asked you yesterday if you had a problem with Finidi, a man you have severally praised to be a man of integrity starting Iheanacho, u no talk

The gaame against Benin will be played in Ivory Coast, in one of the stadium where we played 3 of our 7 AFCON games..... might be an advantage

Mikel led u to nowhere?
Were u not born before 2013 AFCON?

U r eager to discard older players because u thought d new ones will do better,
but I'm sure Balogun would still be better than this Tanzanian guy

Africa’s football governing body, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has revealed that the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) will not be used in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers across the continent, Platinumnewsng.com is reporting

CAF announced on Wednesday that the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) will not be in use for the upcoming round of world cup qualifiers.

The reason for this decision remains undisclosed. However, unavailability of the VAR technology in some match venues to be used across the continent is a major cause of concern.

Nigeria, one of the participating countries, is set to kick off the qualifiers by hosting Lesotho’s Crocodile at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo before facing Mozambique.

Source platinum news.

So it is not the duty of NFF which I erroneously interjected as NFF fault. Very bad oversight on my part. Apologies

The same CAF that carried VAR on their heads during Afcon as if they are the one that manufactured it grin

A big Shame!

Just a reminder.
We need ighaLos finishing in our attack.
Those chances moffi and Co misses ighalo will putnit away.
He may not be the best attacker but he is our best finisher
We should get him un the team now.
He has the experience and confidence to convert chances.

Your hate befuddled your small mindedness.

Why not contend with my comments with regards to KC are they substantiated and with credence.

Your bitter leaf 🌿 head 🗣️ could not restrain itself to look for contention.

At least he is better than moses simon. KC has been our hero in matches we nearly lost. He has a deft left foot to put the in the back of the net. You don't know anything
I think Moses Simon is creative in beating his man one on one than lookman .. lookman just has one style ..

That's why the south Africans were able contain him .. Moses Simon would have dribbled past those south African, if you ask me ..

. I noticed it too. If I be super eagles coach, Moses Simon isn't going to be on the bench for whatever reason. Dude is a force to reckon with. He is a better performer than any other super eagles players bested only by Osimhen

i wouldn't say that cause simon is very poor at crossing the ball in a square play scenario .. That's where lookman best him at ..

I'm just saying, if Simon was the at lookman's position against south Africa, he would've gone past the south Africans alot more than lookman did which would have resulted in more goal threat for us .. In short, Simon would've won us penalties against them ..

My point is, Simon would've made a difference in that match...

I believe we really have short term memory in this country cos It seems nobody remembers ighalo's last match for the eagles. Criticized into retirement? He retired after winning the afcon golden boot. And he knew his time was up even by his last match against Ghana in the world cup qualifier.

Bros if we had qualified for the world cup, ighalo would still wanna hang a litttle and stay with the National team…go and read comments from all over social media that period…people criticized him and were annoyingly advising NFF to overhaul the team and retain some “young” players discarding the “old” players…if you are ighalo, reading those lines across social media wont you take a bow?….bros he took a bow out of eagles due to wide criticism…the negative critiquing started from that miss at the 2018 world cup and when osimhen started maturing as a SE player

Mikel won Afcon, reached WC 2nd round and almost won APOTY and tell me the difference between Mikel and Okocha in terms of achievement,in fact Mikel had better football career than JayJay,not disrespecting Okocha but telling us Mikel led eagles to nowhere sound somehow.

A fit Ndidi is unplayable based on what we have presently,Onyedika and Onyeka are good options and am seeing Onyedika getting there soon but Ndidi still eagles number one DM if fit.

I agree. Imagine Emenike in place of Nacho in that match and Nosa Igiebor in place of Fisayo. We would have won that match with nothing less than 5 goals.

Simon Moses cost us WC qualification against Ghana and it happened in the first leg, just a curling would have done it but hit the ball straight to the goalkeeper….Oh you forgot the same Lookman won us penalty against Ghana in the 2nd leg.

It took Ighalo few years before he started delivering for eagles and really impressed during Afcon 2019 but the same Ighalo missed that chance against Argentina.
