I'm so surprised that non of you have a single idea of what is actually going on. I'm sorry I can't help you any further

It's because you have every idea what is actually going on that's why I asked you the questions I asked you but am surprised that you could not answer my questions with all you know.

1. Is Tinubu still governing Lagos that you claim that his "ambition is to make Lagos an independent state just like london"?

2. What makes London an independent state?

3. Are you saying that because of Lagos alone, all Yorubas including those shouting that they are hungry are ready to die for Tinubu?

Sanwo Olu is fond of big grammar and elitist projects. Most on the internal roads in Lagos are an eyesore. He has no time for them. Like one report above, Pipe borne water is only available to those areas that Jakande installed them in 1979.
So what is the big grammar all about?

Come off it. Did the LASG come to Nairaland to make this statement? This was a release from the unveiling of the Lagos State Transport Policy document, which is a technical document, and the unveiling would have been targeted at a technical audience. What you are reading is merely a reportage of the event.

Now, when you look at it, what is really so confusing about what they've said here? Do you want to tell me that you could not grasp the message which is that the plan is to decentralise (hopefully this one too does not sound too big for you) central Lagos and make other areas viable commercial hubs while at the same time improving transportation links between all the various areas? Did you miss this? Then the problem is with you, not the speaker.
Firstly, I never mentioned LASG. I wonder why you brought it up. We're you paid by LASG for Thai comment?

Secondly, you only regurgitated the buzzword (decentralise) used in the article. You added no useful information to the already unhelpful article.

You really need to up your communication game.

That was my concern. For you to have found this write-up concerning, there must be fundamental issues with your level of education. For your enlightenment, decentralise means what it sounds like: to take something from the centre and distribute it such that it becomes within reach of the entire circumference of an area. Is circumference troublesome for you too?

EcoNews:
I am so glad Lagosians can now see that no matter the news, be it positive or negative this particular tribe will always hate.

Some senseless Yorubas n Lagosian might claim not all those from this spiteful hate filled tribe hate Lagos like the rest of us do not have functional brains. It is not all European that were slave traders does that stop Europe from being culpable of slave trade ?!

This is the altitude Yoruba should take on Igbos hating on Lagos n the SW, they' should be held accountable for their action n should be paid back in multiples of their own coin.

The entire Lagos is already Monocentric. Terribly choked up.

Only Ikorodu and Epe axis has the potential of investments expansion. Concentrate on those areas for now.

Sorry, Mr LASG. I understand you must defend every kobo you're paid.

I work in a very technical field and I always have the task of breaking complex terms down for decision makers. That article is a salad, period.

You can deny from today till whenever but it won't change the fact.

A good article should use concrete examples to explain jargons to non-experts. Not throw words around and think you've done justice to a topic.

When the time comes it maybe too late for the Igbos. They have to create something out of nothing else the very best of the saboteurs will repeat what they did in 1967

They are just waking up. Yeyenatullahi

Even your federal government...some evil people will always kick against spreading all head offices, departments and ministries across the six regions (geopolitical zones).

Let a department of CBN monitoring banks go back to Lagos where most banks in Nigeria are headquartered, they kicked like a spoiled child. They always travel to the UK USA etc but wouldn't borrow a good example from those places where they keep and spend their loots.

It needs to be ingrained in their memories that when you spread it, everywhere grows and you have less congestion in the capitals and other urban cities. In Lagos, if you don't get to Lagos Island , VI, Ikoyi, you don't get anything done. It is pure nonsense.

Spread and couple it with real-time online services. That's it!
