SonofLagos: Calm down, just accept it. I cant judge you for what is not your fault. It is not your fault that you have congenital body odour from your father's long years working as a toilet cleaner. The smell came into his veins and sperm, from so many years cleaning toilets. Thats why you have the body odour you have. Confess: you are a low life and will remain one, accept it. You cannot rise above cleaning toilets for a living: repeat it and accept it. There is dignity in labour. The only problem is that the congenital body odour will also be passed to your children: accept it. |

SonofLagos: Its high time to go back to the toilet, your father's shift is over. You need to take over. Repeat: your lineage is only fit for washing toilets, especially pit latrines in motor parks. Accept it: this is the work you will hand over to your children as well. Confess, there is dignity in labour. |

Believeintruth: He ran away after Benjamin Adekunle has done an irreparable damage to his ranks. The need to runaway is inevitable. Ojukwu, the father of of Biafra ran away from the war front and left the people he was fighting for to bear the brunts of war, hunger, starvation and deaths on their own. What kind of a leader does that. 1 Like |

DeepsightX: We are talking about the people running and administrating Lagos State, but you are here shouting capital. Is economic capital the one running Lagos or elected leaders making sensible decisions to keep Lagos ahead and functioning as intended? Was the Lekki Ikoyi bridge which remains the best bridge in Nigeria built in 1914 or 1999?. Was the Blue or the red rail built in 1914 or by the economic Capital or sensible leaders making the right decisions? What's the meaning of oil money sef..? Are all the states in Nigeria including yours not collecting oil money?or is it the fault of Lagos that your leaders have nothing to show for the oil money they collect on your behalf? Btw, did 1914 or economic Capital grew the IGR in Lagos from N500 million to N50 Billion per month or because of leadership decision and creativity? Lagos State is not managing itself or awarding and commissioning projects by itself, elected leaders are responsible, you cannot grow, progress and develop without serious leaders coming up with bright ideas and solutions . 1 Like |

idealogical: I am sure it is more important and strategic to the economy than the third mainland bridge or the air and sea ports. Btw, did 1914 or economic Capital grew the IGR in Lagos from N500 million to N50 Billion per month or because of leadership decision and creativity? You can only get that IGR becuase it is the economic capital. Or is it the special intelligence of Lagos leaders that ensured that 99.9 per cent of all businesses in Nigeria are headquartered here? If so, why cant they replicate that in Osun State for example? I dont know why you guys always try to deny the simple fact that Lagos is Nigeria's economic capital and its nerve centre. Rather you try to claim it is what it is because of "bright minds." Lol. |

Khyrvxjzy:Lagos has lost its serenity with weird demolitions. No one's interested to invest in the City any longer. Houses, investments are being destroyed/demolished In the name of building a mega city. No wonder real estate business is dwindling. No one is interested in buying properties as it's used to be. |

Re: LASG Plans To Transform Lagos From “Monocentric” To “Polycentric" Metropolis by idealogical: 6:53pm On Jun 09 |
DeepsightX: This is so ridiculous and absurd. What's money gut to do with bright ideas, creative solutions and ingenuity? So having money means you're smart and intelligent? The fact that you have money or the former Capital doesn't mean you know how to collect the money properly and use the money judiciously or even if build the right infrastructures with it. Lagos was the former federal capital when it was generating only N500 million, it took a smart and intelligent leader to look for and instituted creative ways to generate more IGR than 32 states combined. Delta state with less than a quarter of the population of Lagos state generates huge IGR and deductions, but there's still nothing to show for all that money. Some states generates huge IGR and derivations, but instead of building worthwhile and productive projects, they are building mega churches and other rubbish, some are building convention centers with billions. Money or no money, former federal capital or not, leaders in Lagos state drew up there master plan to build free trade zones, to build metro rails, to build seaport, to lobby Dangote to build the largest single train refinery, fertilizer and petrochemical plants Lagos, these are products of human decisions, not money or the federal capital or whatever rubbish you guys come up with to justify incompetence in your own states with bad leadership. There's a video of Tinubu in China back in 2006 talking about Metro rail and free trade zone. Before the great wall of Lagos, VI, bar beach, homes and businesses used to get flooded and always under water, your federal government and federal Capital used to spend hundreds of billions to prevent flooding and beach errosion and to save VI from going under water, but your federal government, ports and economic Capital failed year after year until the smart and credible leadership under Tinubu came up with the best, smartest once and for all solution. No more flooding or any kind of flooding or threat, the VI is safe and sound. The leadership in Lagos started the first metro rail project in Nigeria under Jakande, but your FG and former federal capital and economic Capital stopped and derailed the project. Beats me why I have to explain these basic realities, but people like you are more interested in lame excuses that ports and former federal capital are responsible for the progress and development in Lagos as if they don't have leaders making decisions, coming up with bright ideas and solutions. Money or former Federal Capital cannot save you if you're not bright or intelligent. Abeg, elevate above these shallow reasonings. Money can not buy intelligence and competence and if that's the case, many states with huge resources and 5 million population should be a million miles ahead of Lagos. |
