Well, we have the chance to top our group on Monday. let's just win Benin CONVINCINGLY because the whole thing might go down to GD at the end of the day.

The most shocking thing I read here yesterday was some peeps mentioning Jose Peseiro. Like was he not the one who drew the first two matches? I dey ask abeg Matches we ought to have won on a normal day. Baba denied us an AFCON trophy by listing almost 5 injured players in that final match when capable and fresh replacements are on the bench.
I told ya. Who is laughing now. Chochocho, we will beat benin

No damage was done sir.

Peseiro only reverted to defensive formation because of our ekuke defenders. NFF that instead of going for peseiro upgrade.
They pick their own. End grin

The damage was done with the 2 draws against Zimbabwe and Lesotho ....That's what I meant

It would have been better if we are crucifying paseiro now. The same rohr we said he’s not good has beaten us today with a less fancied side

It’s time to be humble bruv
We have different priorities
I do not think we should go to the World Cup because we don't have good enough players
That is exactly the same place we were in 1989 when Clemence Westerhof came to Nigeria. We did not qualify for the 1990 World Cup and his beginning was a series of disastrous losses but we were patient and REALISTIC
Many youngsters seek instant gratification without work.
Without significantly better players
We will be disgraced if we go to the World Cup
We cannot defend.
So why deceiving ourselves that we are entitled to winning like it is a right?

We should just use the qualifiers as an opportunity to build not deceive ourselves
We are not that good.

Super Eagles played well!

The players must imbibe the mentality of do-or-die when playing any match.

Immediately they scored that first goal, they should have defended for the remaining time of the match.

I cannot see and feel the hunger to win from the team.

He spent the most time winning free kicks “and this run opened the way for Fisayo Bashiru”. Which run?

Granted he should be given some credit for our equalizer for his hold up play contribution

I stopped reading your statement when you said we were lucky. The fact that you're willing to blatantly deny and ignore Peseiro's defensive masterclass at the just concluded AFCON is enough for me to ignore every other thing you said.

If a local coach had done what Peseiro did, you would have praised him to the heavens and totally ignored how he did it. Make una abandon this una racism oo. It's not healthy for the human mind.
It is your opinion that it was a masterclass
Anyone who parks the bus will be hard to beat
A defensive masterclass does not look to me like losing
A 1-0 lead to a team you had already beaten
That was confirmation of the luck hypothesis

Most people here lack knowledge of the technical aspect of analyzing the game. They know nothing!!!

If Finidi or whatever he is called has any form of decency in him, he should resign immediately. The USA 1994 sets are all bunch of saboteurs. Most of these ex Nigerian footballers have problem with their knowledge of the round leather game.

I hope you people who held Rohr and Peseiro to perfection standards will hold Finidi to same. His tenure has been much worse..

Since this man left, we have found it difficult to qualify for tournaments. I remember how easy he made qualifiers look. Now, as the coach of Benin Republic, it looks like he may have just destroyed our chances of going to the World Cup.

Papa Gernot Rohr, I throway salute for you grin 😎

Peseiro and Amuneke as assistant can still qualify us

I was hoping we could improve post Peseiro..But I have to say I was wrong. We for manage Peseiro defensive play. At the end of the day NFF we’re not serious about keeping him.

That is an opinion not a fact
A good coach needs good players
There is not enough data to establish that
Like I said Westerhof had a terrible start

How many hours has he had?

He need at least two years in my opinion

As we can see clearly we have only one number 9 and that is Osimhen

I see no reason why musa is no longer getting any invites

Our captain should be either musa ,troost ekong or osimhen

Maybe or maybe not...but without sentiment and beclouded eyes it was all there for the naked eye to see.

The fans played into the hands of the corrupt NFF. They had close to 12b to spend and the second place money from afcon on a very good gaffer[ but took Nigerians on a very long journey of appointing a rookie, that has absolute no knowledge of football formations and tactics but only fixated to playing homebase that would cross the imaginary ball to a tall striker to head home as if the opposition came with a mattress to sleep on the field.

Lethargic football carries the day. Rhor and Peseiro manage our football with lethargic football while Finidi and Eguaveon finished us with gen gen pressing.

We don't have world beaters true, but i refuse to believe we don't have players good enough to beat Benin.
Honestly, we might as well have kept Rohr if the excuse is we don't have good players. At least he knew how to win when it mattered.
