Nice. I really love how the NA dey move.

Imagine a valuable asset like this and it is not being used to go after the 100K bandits out there who are making things hard for everyone via food price increases and insecurity. Instead, the asset is being used to terrify the civilian population. Wonderful.

See, 5 NA were keeled at a junction in Aba. The proper thing to do would have been to trace the keelers. There are videos of these guys out there and face recognition software, plus other gizmos would be more than enough to pick up their trail and eliminate them. In fact, the whole IP0b, Boko Haram and bandit thing should have been wrapped up years ago if we had serious governments.

Instead, those gunmen in Aba were allowed to kee and go unhindered, with the NA coming much later to pack civilians who were nearby when these NA were keed. What law hands the military the power to arrest and detain civilians? What law gives them the power to dictate how civilians should dress and look? Can they not see that when they act like they are above the law, they lose respect, inspire resentment, contempt and anger?

When these gunmen strike again, you will see people hailing them and I don't blame them.

I do not supoort oppression on the general populate or innocent civilians, but the IPOB and killing of uniform men is getting out of hand the South. This was out terrorism started in the N.E, I don't see anything wrong in this show of force, it's not has if the T129 ATAK helicopters was raining down fire on a neighborhood or an area.

And how do you know it has only been deployed to the Southern part of Nigeria, these are hardware that could be rapidly deployed anywhere.

Lastly I saw the video of NA arresting civilians and of which most where women, on my own side I condemn these andbits somehow unprofessional. But keys look at the other side of the coin, when such arrest are made they will get valuable information from this arrested people. Because this IPOB militant are not ghost and they are people's relative, who live among humans too.

For me I see nothing bad in deploying these assets to hot conflicts zones, they could be quickly deployed to other theatres too.

PRESS RELEASE ON ATTACK ON TROOPS OF OPERATION UDO KA AT CHECKPOINT IN ABIA STATE ON 30 MAY 2024

Troops of OP UDO KA deployed at Obikabia Junction Checkpoint in Obingwa Local Government Areas adjourning Aba metropolis in Abia State were attacked and sadly killed by terrorist of IPOB/ ESN. The troops deployed to enforce peace in the area and protect the citizens were massed attacked by the terrorist. The terrorist in 3 tinted Prado Toyota SUVs and others from builtup areas surrounding the checkpoint, sprang a surprise attack on the checkpoint.

The attack sadly took the lifes of 5 personnel of the armed forces killed in action. The armed forces mourns the death of these troops as each and every soldier lost in battle is a terrible loss. Meanwhile, investigation are ongoing concerning the attack.

Overall, it must be reinterated that the lifeline of the terrorist is the people and this situation is no exemption. Winning the war without the support of the people is close to impossible. The IPOB capitalised on this to perpetrate attacks on the troops. The situation leaves more to be desired.

Accordingly, it is absolutely imperative that the military retaliate against this dastardly act against troops. The military would be fierce in its response. We would bring overwhelming military pressure on the group to ensure their total defeat.

OPERATION LAKE SANITY 2 CONTINUES DESPITE TERRORIST PROPAGANDA

As Operation Lake Sanity 2 progresses, the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) is addressing recent propaganda spread by ISWAP terrorists urging Kukawa and neighboring communities to flee or face attack. Unfortunately, some media outlets have inadvertently amplified this message, overlooking its implications. This reprehensible propaganda is a blatant act of intimidation, a desperate move by a group on the verge of defeat.

As multinational troops intensify operations, such propaganda is likely to increase, making it crucial for communities to remain steadfast, vigilant, and confident in their safety. The MNJTF and Nigerian Operation HADIN KAI troops are firmly committed to safeguarding Lake Chad Basin communities. They are actively pursuing Boko Haram terrorists, moving swiftly and decisively to neutralize any threats. Their presence and continued operations serve as a robust shield against this menace.

The terrorists' so-called ultimatum is a clear sign of their frustration and diminishing power. Their capability to conduct ground operations has been significantly impaired, pushing them towards using scare tactics like Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) at every opportunity. By issuing such threats, they aim to spread fear and disrupt the lives of Lake Chad Basin residents. It is crucial not to succumb to their tactics but instead to demonstrate resolve and fortitude.

We urge the residents of Kukawa and neighboring communities to remain united and vigilant. Report any suspicious activities to the troops immediately. Collective vigilance and cooperation are essential during Operations Lake Sanity 2 and beyond. Our unity is our strength, and together, we can ensure the security of the Lake Chad basin region.

Oga mi, nothing in our constitution grants the NA the power to arrest civilians. So, why are they so casually breaking the law while in pursuit of lawbreakers? So many of those they are arresting will be t0rtured, others repped and some will disappear never to be seen again. Like this same thing has happened many times before, so we all know how it ends for those unlucky enough to be arrested.

Is it that the NA does not know that going after bad guys in this way will only win them more support? When IPOB comes to where these mass arrests took place and starts saying that the NA is out to exterm1nate igbos, won't all the listeners take them seriously? Hasn't the NA learned anything and why do they love repeating glaring mistakes?

The job of the NA is to defend our territorial integrity and not to be arresting civilians, shaving guys with dreads or closing plazas.

Negodu press release. Does this sound professional to any of you? How does retaliating on civilians make any sense and why can't they go after the guys who actually attacked the checkpoint?
Have they checked CCTVs around the place to find out what these guys look like and stuff like that? No, of course not. They intend making civilians pay and this kind of thing will massively backfire soon.

Even if they deployed a thousand of those copters to the south east nothing would change rather it would provide a every good Intel to those who want to leave the Nigerian marriage on how to bring those copters down...!!

Until Nigeria begin to tell themselves the truth we all would continue to go in circle..!!

The igbos want to leave Nigeria what's is there not to understand.?

Nigeria army would rather send their men to die enmass to secure the British estate rather than kiss the truth..!!

The least the army can do is burn markets and shops, kill innocent old and young people and take perceived revenge for their men...nothing more..!!

I remember last year when Russia started asking to buy some of there equipment back from customers to bolster there campaign in Ukraine. The reports said they mainly asked Brazil, Egypt, Belarus, Pakistan. As far as Africa goes only Egypt has agreed. I wonder if they bothered approaching other African countries I can’t imagine anyone agreeing regardless.

TROOPS RAID IPOB/ESN TRAINING CAMP IN ABIA STATE, CLEAR BANDITS HIDEOUTS IN ONDO, RECOVER ARMS, AMMUNITION

In a clearance operation conducted in the early hours of Wednesday 12 June 2024, troops of the Nigerian Army in conjunction with a Task Force Tactical Patrol Squad conducted a raid on a training camp of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its armed wing, the Eastern Security Network (ESN) located in Ihechiowa community of Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State.

During the operation, troops successfully infiltrate and dismantled the camp, destroying all training apparatus and facilities found on-site. The raid marks a critical move in the ongoing efforts to curb acts of terrorism by IPOB and ESN, which have been linked to various security challenges and violence unleashed on innocent citizens as well as security operatives in the state.

In addition to the destruction of the training camp, the troops also targeted buildings used as hideouts for key ESN Commanders. The operation was executed with precision and yielded significant intelligence.

The raid operation was sequel to heightening terrorists' activities of IPOB/ESN, targeting law-abiding citizens and government agencies in Abia State and other parts of Southeastern Nigeria.

Further updates on the operation will be communicated as the troops continue with the operations.

In a separate operation, troops of the Nigerian Army in conjunction with other security agencies have successfully cleared bandits and criminals' hideouts around Irele, Igbobini and Segbemi Kiribo in the general area of Ese - Odo forest in Irele Local Government Area of Ondo state. During the clearance operations, the troops recovered one AK-47 rifle, one AK-47 rifle magazine, 5 locally fabricated single barrel guns, and one locally made pistol. Other items recovered from the bandits include 18 rounds of 7.62mm (Special) ammunition and 24 live Cartridges.
