I killed this long green snake in front of my house. It was so silent, I wonder how long it was there before I noticed it. Thank God it was not a venomous one. 6 Likes

EnkayDezign: Even if you held this particular species on the tail to kill it, the highest would been a bite but without venom secretion. This is a non venomous snake species. This is really a season of snake. I like the fact that you did not take chance |

This is like the 15th snake thread in 2 days. Everybody needs to be vigilant. Nigeria doesnโt have anti snake venoms in hospital so if you get bitten might likely not survive it 7 Likes |

It's rainy season snakes are bound to come out of their holes or get killed by the flood.. Clear your grass, keep your area tidy and neat, poisonous or not snakes are dangerous. 9 Likes 1 Share |

EnkayDezign:Generally snakes don't attack humans first when they see them. They only attack when feel threatened. It's just a green house snake and non venomous. 2 Likes |

The return of the snakes... On NL. Reminds of the good old days of the snake lord lala. Interesting. Snakes seem to be more abundant during the raining seasons though. Due to their significant movements for different reasons like increased food availability, movements to higher grounds and possibly due to the cooler weather! 1 Like |
