Me, I'm watching CNN emotionally claim a lot of people use marijuana for medical reasons, as if Hunter was using crack cocaine for medical reasons, lol.

Americans can make me laugh.

That is the problem with the media which end up pushing mentally unstable people who can't think for themselves into fanatism

2 convictions Trump and Hunter by the same Justice dept. Fox news and CNN will try to bend themselves into pretzels convincing that one is just and one is unjust. One is right and one is wrong

Yet, she sat on the jury and convicted, as the evidence required her to.

Guess that is sufficient evidence that USA is not bananas.

I'm not sure your point.
I've sat on juries and I've always thought that juries do their duty conscientiously and follow the evidence and law regardless of their feelings.
So I think it makes my point.
If the Supreme court found say X. And someone was tried of X. Most juries would convict if they found the evidence was there despite their feelings on X. I say most because some may nullify.

He said "mentally unstable people who can't think for themselves" while pushing untrue propaganda showing he is a "mentally unstable person who can't think for himself". lol

1.) It wasn't the same Justice Dept. One was a State prosecution the other Federal prosecution. State and Federal are two different entities. Even further, The Federal prosecutor was a Trump appointed prosecutor who Biden let stay on and was elevated to a Special Prosecutor.

2.) Just because we have 2 similar things doesn't mean they are the same. One thing can be right while, the other is wrong.

Example:
I can easily explain the policy objective behind the Trump prosecution:
We don't want presidential candidates breaking campaign finance laws to deceive voters before an election. Because voters should be able to understand who they are voting for. Trump was the head of the organization, so we want to try Trump to prevent others from doing the same.

Now you go ahead and explain why the Special prosecutor tried Hunter Biden and ex addict for lying on a gun form while let off the Gun store Dealer for lying or fraud on the same gun form. What was the social policy goal there? Was it to get more illegal guns off the street? If so, why not prosecute the gun dealer who clearly committed fraud?

When you open your mind and think for yourself, the depth of analysis and understanding opens up.

The law was made so that drug users who will be mentally unstable and cannot be rational don't get their hands on guns
I wonder why you got triggered by the "Mentally unstable people who can't think for themselves"

You literally posted misinformation you were fed and are now talking about thinking for yourself. Why don't you tell us again how the NY state prosecution was the same DOJ office as the Federal Prosecution.
Repeating misinformation and then acting like you know what you are talking about is common for you as you do it here often.

Now tell me, how someone who is unstable and not rational can fill out a form saying they are stable and rational? What mens rea can they have in that moment? I'm sure the Supreme Court will also find the form illegal the way it is currently written. It hinges upon someone believing they are an addict. How many addicts think they are addicted?

You see the difference in the fawning proganda your posts are based on and how my posts are constructed?
That's the difference with someone who thinks for themselves.

Let's go even further. How many other addicts have they prosecuted for owning guns.. I bet it's almost 0 if not 0. Let's go even further, they spend tons of money prosecuting this case, couldn't that money have been better spent in a case with better policy outcomes? That's the problem with this, the DOJ budget isn't infinite, and so they have to pick and choose priorities. How was this a priority? I can easily explain why Trump's prosecution was. How bout spending the Money we spent on Hunter on asylum cases to decrease the wait time.. etc. etc.

But you haven't sat and thought this stuff out. Too complex for your small mind to understand. It's all "Biden's son got convicted.." Yay!

Exactly. He is now happy they are winning the war because of so called fake outrage about civilian deaths. Purposely putting civilians in harmsway

The 4 that were saved days back were put in densely civilian populated areas because he knows that works for him. When civilians dies he loves it because it will make Isreal want to withdraw and try not to put civilians in harm's way

Yet some people are saying otherwise. Terrorist group that doesn't care about nothing but their own agenda

Been watching MSNBC, and have found them to be much fairer on this. I do dread what I'd find on Newsmaxx and OAN though, as they are usually dump promoting pacs. Fox, well, I don't see their point to be honest, and the Jones channel is not even news but a diqhardener selling channel.

It directly informs the DOJ if you lie on the form.

I heard if a gun dealer provides a contract that says "Upon purchasing this riffle, you agree you will not use it for mass shooting in the future" Mass shootings will stop in the United States.
Budaatum, the UK should introduce gun ownership since binding contracts can now be used to stop mass shootings.

Oh, everyone know we Brits are unholy and unrighteous are going straight to hell. We got elections coming, and not one person seeking election dare mention God, despite the fact there's a church in every parish. If you are going to lie on a form though, you better make sure it hasn't got that Made in America AI thing, or just confess that you are "someone who is unstable and not rational". That way, no UK court can possibly find you guilty, especially if the judge is imported from the USA.

Na. I don't think that's a good idea. If it works for knives though, like, on owning this knife you agree not to stab anyone, I'm certain we'd want it.

And to be honest we've so had enough of the Conservatives that the Labour leader would have to stand naked and shoot a child in its mother's womb for him to not win this election.

See Budaatum, here is a perfect example of someone not knowing what they are talking about because they don't understand US law/culture because they don't live in the US. As a US citizen you are required to appear if you are summoned for Jury Duty. I'm a US citizen and live in MA. I can be summoned once every 3 years. I cheat a little and postpone it for a year. So every 4 years. I believe in my civic duty so when I appear I don't try to get out of it by lying and saying I can't be impartial. I've been selected 2x. 1 was a long trial, I think 3 weeks. The other short, 1-2 days. The other times, sat read my kindle and waited. Most of the trials those days settled.

If you want to spend your life deluged in topics regarding a country you've never been to, it might behoove you to understand it's basic customs and practices.

Here is the 2019 postponement. I don't even think I had to serve because of Covid.
Below that is the 2024 summons I postponed.

Are you equating buda with basilico the lying kraken qanon conspiracist?

He called you a liar, and you then go on to tell how citizens are called for jury service, having assumed he does not know citizens are called for jury service. And the reason you think he doesn't know citizens are called for jury service is because "they don't understand US law/culture because they don't live in the US". But have you considered that he might know but still thinks you are lying all the same, or is calling you a liar because he likes winding you up like he constantly does? After all, we've discussed 2 cases here very recently, both of which had juries. Or do you think he thinks those jurors who were peers of the accused were brought from Mars?

This is why I accuse you of gaslighting. But it now seems like you just create a narrative that fits your beliefs instead of considering likely alternatives.

Sorry, but I am not accepting your 'all swans are black' illogic a la, basilico doesn't know what they are talking about because they don't understand US law/culture because they don't live in the US, therefore buda doesn't know what they are talking about because they don't understand US law/culture because they don't live in the US. Its shoddy logic and lazy reasoning, and not what I'd expect from a Harvard graduate, and if this is a perfect example of anything, its one of how you wrongly infer and claim it was implied, and then fit the data to your wrong assumption, just as you repeatedly did with me. And all it does is say more about you than those you want to say anything about.

I haven't lived in USA, and neither have I ever been there, but I know citizens are called for jury service, and if I didn't know I could just decide to educate myself by googling it wherever I am, or just read a book about jury service in America, or even simply logically deduce it from the fact that a jury of one's peers must be citizens from one's community. And that's apart from the fact that I have done jury service three times myself and therefore ought to know despite never having been to USA.

And before anyone infers from this that I am defending the liar basilico, I mule his kraken 2000 times so that idea is disabused.

Hunter Biden take away.
He lied on a form, he decieved the seller and he owned a gun for 11 days. Should he get 25 years?
I don't think so. He had his rehab as a sign of wanting to go clean.
He committed no crimes, and no laughing matter he can afford drugs.
Consider other underprivileged people. A poor addict will likely do anything for his next fix If he had a gun, he could easily use it.
But a drug user who lives in a crime prone area , he might need a gun for protection.
A rich kid drug addicted might steal from the government. Ah that's ok, he is not robbing you. Govt has money, let him steal it why not? Govt will have less $$$ to send to the IDF after all.
If the govt shut the borders there could be less of a drug problem.

Basilico didn't understand how people are called for Jury duty. That is clear. 1.) Why would he? He doesn't live here so it doesn't affect him. And he doesn't seem like a voracious reader of non propaganda. 2.) The time frame is different from state to state. The frequency of being called almost ensures people will serve.
The point of getting called to Jury Duty is so that people can serve on those juries. And because a lot of people actively try to get out of jury service, if you don't try to get out of it by lying to say you can't serve or lying to say that you are biased etc. etc, there's a good chance you'll serve on a jury. But, if you've ever been called, you may not understand that. So, if you don't live in the US, that is a cultural reference you would have no way of knowing. And why would I lie about serving? In the US, it's generally believed that only idiots can't get out of serving jury duty. And for that record what I have lied about in this thread?r

At a point your judgement is in question for trying to call me a liar about something so silly

Are you sure you can read and understand at all?

Where did I try to call you a liar?

Was I lying myself when I said I too have done jury service 3 times, or is comprehension a problem for you?

You do know that it Is citizens who do jury service in UK right, or must you live in UK to know that?

Ijebos, please know that I am now most definitely questioning your judgement and your ability to understand what you read!

Dude, we do jury service here in UK! And as a natural born citizen, buda has done it 3 times. So I don't understand why you'd think buda would think you'd be lying about doing jury service when buda has no reason to think you are lying!

As for all the nonsense you've written below, buda is just going to ignore it in hope you realise you have wrongly understood what you read or until you carry out your idle threat.

And for your information, I am a Briton who lives in Britain. Not that that has any bearing on this conversation though, mind.

ijebosb:

As to you.
You are a Nigerian who lives in the UK. You have two whole cultures I'm sure you are curious about and want to know the intricacies of. To spend so much of your free time on the US is nuts I think.
Further, I've noticed a pattern with you, you get emotional and then seek attention/affirmation from the same people who abuse you. It's not an endearing quality. I didn't want to say it, but Bemeruca is right about you, even a broken clock is right 2x a day. You are two-faced. And to top it off, I'm not even sure what your true values are. You seem to flip flip readily because you don't want to lose arguments. Pick a lane. And fyi, this third person shit of calling yourself Buda makes you look nuts.

I've warned you about getting at me and tried to be patient with you. As you can see, I've exhausted that patience.
