Has anyone experienced this before? The router suddenly reset the name and password and went back to "starlink" open.

Consecutive power failure within a very short time frame; and router will reset to factory settings.

Yes. I noticed it happens when power goes off more than once in a very short time.

Hi Everyone,
So i got a brand new starlink and installed it today. Challenge is that i am getting speeds up to 112Mbps on the speed test but when i try to download anything, i does not even hit 1Mbps. Does anyone know what the challenge is?

I got my brand new replacement in two days. I'm thinking in one week as it shows that their units are already in Lagos

I installed my Starlink yesterday using the Roam plan, I have been getting different network speeds ranging from 150mbps to 5mps and I was able to stream a 4k video on YouTube but it occasionally buffers. At my place of work we also use Starlink using the Roam plan the speed has been subpar, whenever I go to the office and test the network speed I hardly get up to 30mbps consistently.

I am currently getting like 7-15 mbps on speed tests but really when I download , it is usually hard to get 1mbps speeds. Which is confusing.

Don’t force it as it will self-orient itself when connected to power. Besides why put it face down?

It was deliberately put in that position, you shouldn't force it. It's called Stowing. It's stowed for easy packaging and shipping. It will automatically reposition itself once installed and working.

I hope you know the difference between downlink and download, Mbps and MBps?

Regarding speed, as long as there are no obstructions in the view of the dishy and installed, preferably, at the highest point in your location, there's really nothing much you can do to improve speed.

Make sure to split the 2.4/5.0Ghz frequencies. For devices close to the router, use the 5Ghz frequency, it's faster.

Good news. I was able to change my new device plan from Roaming to residential in Lagos. Hopefully i don't get stories that touch at the end of the month.
