Why is it that the Anioma area and other Igbo speaking parts of other states are not joined to their southeastern brothers in the new proposed eight geopolitical zones, while the bill plans to join every Yoruba speaking areas in other states and regions to their brothers in the South-west?

You guys should torchlight this proposed bill and not just get unnecessarily excited at it.

I thought the National Assembly denied such bill?

Lmao.

I hope you all can see that APC and leadership are two parallel lines.

Party of lies and more lies to cover first lie.

Did you read where the private individual who drafted an idea, said he would send the idea to the government this week Friday?

What has that got to do with the APC or the Federal Government if till now it remains the idea of a private individual?

Do you know what a Draft bill is, more so, a draft bill that has not been submitted to anyone?

Learn to read and understand.

The issue here will be disagreement over which region the individual states or people would prefer to belong. Is there going to be a referendum to determine this? You are giving option of Yoruba speaking people of Kogi and Edo to join the South western region without giving the same option for Igbo speaking part of Edo, Delta, Kogi,Rivers, cross river, to join South Eastern region.

It is better to get the regions first, then the people in all those areas can decide which regions they want to follow however, they must keep in view the geographical location of their places in relation to the region they prefer.

Just break up the country.

But I hope this bill, if passed, will stop the influx of Southeasterners into Yorubaland through night buses.

They say this video is old, but it is still going on even as I type.

As a governor Tinubu gave more power to the Local Government and even created more (LCDA) because he believed that is the way governance can easily get to the people although this caused a big fight between him and Obasanjo then.

With Tinubu's antecedents, I won't be surprised if he swiftly assent to the bill that will return Nigeria to regional Government but that's going to offend the Northerners a lot.

At the point the interest of the majority who are the people outlines the feelings of the North

"....incorporating the Yoruba-speaking people in Kogi and the Igbomina people in Kwara State. Additional options would be the Itsekiri people of Delta State and Akoko-Edo people of Edo State to make their respective choices.” Is it supposed to be a tribal region or a geographical region?

You proposed that Yoruba speaking part of Kwara and Kogi, and even some part of Delta and Edo state be merged with south west to form Western region.

But in the case of south east, you didn't propose that the Igbo speaking part of Rivers, Delta, Benue, Kogi, Cross River, etc be merged together to form South Eastern region, rather to show your true colour of hatred, you are proposing that the Ohaji/Egbema region, one of the oil producing LGAs in southern imo state be removed from South East to form part of Southern/Niger Delta region. Is it not shameless daylight witchcraft?

The division is trouble making. Joining anyhow is very funny. You want to take other region and join to another region so they can become a sub human. Why not South West, South East, Muddle belt, South South, North East, North West?

That is your opinion, however you can participate in the debate when it gets to the house of assemblies

Is there going to be a referendum to determine which region they prefer, of course like you wrote bearing in mind the geographical location of the region they want to belong which has to be in close proximity to theirs

Yoruba is proposing to annex their kith and kin in Kwara and Kogi + Akoko Edo in Edo and itshekri in Delta; but proposing for Anioma to join Midwest and Ohaji/Egbema in so called Southern IMO to join Southern region.

Please, why jump Rivers to merge Bayelsa with AkwaCross?

It is either Fapohunda is mischievous or do not understand the make up/geography of SS/SE and thus his proposed Southern Region,Midwest and South East regions.
