The various posters who corroborated his points are also disgruntled opposition

Count the number of positive reviews on that thread before Obi announced that he was contesting in 2022

If you cannot be honest in that then let's continue deceiving ourselves with propaganda pieces which every failed governor including Yaya Bello can bring up

Let's not forget thar the most vocal Obidient on this thread was so incensed by Obid performance as a governor that he was on record literally wishing death on the man at the end of his tenure.

Obi hasn't held office since, so the reason for such a dramatic change of opinion is unknown...or. maybe it is sha

All those who were active posters during Obis regime as governor check their comments about Obi

I know some who have gone to delete or edit their posts when Obis politics aligned

For example this post of 3 dots with 55 likes you wonder what's exceptional about 3 dots to get that much likes?

Now check the post that followed for clue... meager list of accomplishments

This is the reason I like capitalists, they don't sit around and whyne all day, they enter the ring and tussle it out, legal or illegal..

I also learn this man is about entering the steel industry, see the risks he takes, but when he wins, people say he has gorverment backing and monopoly, why not you go fight to have same monopoly and gorverment backing.. if to say na so e easy ?

He just said Nigeria is a lost cause.
So it does not matter if Adesina is the President, or if it is Ikpeazu.

When you hold this position, it's all about personal choice and zilch to do with the objective capacity of whomever you're supporting.
He supported Buhari because Tinubu did.
If Jonathan was from the North and supporting him would be more expedient for Tinubu's political ambition, he'd have deified Jonathan in 2015.

You are correct. We know what we're doing.

I doubt my post changed any one of the 8million voters who supported Tinubu.

Most people knew who they will vote and who they won't from day 1

Ellexy:
This so so funny man. So in your mind you think a page of a nairaland thread probably created by disgruntled opposition back then is enough to discredit the solid, tangible groundwork Obi did in Anambra. No wonder agbodo boys think they've made it in life when they digged up that page. There's a reason that thread didn't make it pass the 2 page then.

Education, Healthcare, anti-corruption, prudence was Obi's major campaign promise and ending godfatherism for good in that state. He delivered 100% on these areas and confirmed by the people who overwhelmingly voted him again not some few monikers on nairaland.

Anambra rose from 26th to 1st in WAEC/NECO performance in Nigeria under his administration. Till today Anambra is still at the top. He renovated more than 500 schools across the state, procured and distributed above 30,000 computers and laptops to secondary schools in the state. Obi's government provided Microsoft Academies to more than 500 secondary schools with Internet access to these schools. Also more than 700 buses were provided to secondary schools in the state by his administration.

His Administration conceived and built, from scratch, the first state-owned Teaching Hospital, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu teaching Hospital, Awka. His government also built the Joseph Nwilo Heart Centre in St. Joseph, Adazi-Nnukwu, where heart operations are carried out.

By the end of his tenure in 2014, more than 12 health institutions, including two hospitals, had secured accreditation as at zero accreditation when he came into power.

On financial prudence, Anambra was the first state to commence Sub-Sovereign Wealth savings, the first of its kind in Sub-Saharan Africa. He moved Anambra from serious debt to zero debt in no time.

The Nigerian Debt Management Office (DMO) rated Anambra as the least indebted state in Nigeria. In spite of visible and measurable achievements recorded in various sectors, the State under him did not borrow or raise bonds for her various projects. This made the Nigerian Senate at the time to rank Anambra State as the most financially stable state in the country. At the end of his tenure, he left 75billion in the government coffers for his successor. This one alone is enough for any sensible person cos no Nigerian politician saves money, they rather borrow and leave the mess for the next.

Anambra has the best road network in the SE, Ngige started it, he consolidated it. He built from scratch the first Secretariat Complex to house State Government Ministries that were scattered across the State.

Now among the top aspirants, Tinubu was the least qualified in real time. In fact in a sane system, the certificate forger would be disqualified and arrested for fraud, identify theft, lack of traceable background and history [maybe he's from Pluto] lying under oath, graduating from a school before it was founded and dealing with narcotics.

These baggages aside, he's too cooked to know Nigeria's problem talk more of solving them. No one among the candidates know Nigeria in the fingertips like Obi with accurate data to back up every word. Sound mind with a sound body not a bulaba brain with a shaking body. The less said about Atiku the better cos aside being VP for 8 years and perennially contesting, I don't see what he's done to even stand out. Maybe his name.

I seriously doubt Anambra of all states would have at any point been ranked 26th in WAEC performance...don't dispute Obi's work in education, but this particular jump sounds sketch

Lol let's all swallow the lamba

There are 36 states in Nigeria so that means Anambra was bottom 10. That means at least one of the NW or NE almajiri states was doing better than Anambra if we accept that every NC SS SE and SW was better than Anambra in Waec

This is the kind of propaganda that shows Obidients don't rate the intelligence of many of their followers
This is an example of what Ellexy posted and dared people to be challenging

One LGA in Anambra will do better than 75% of all Northern states in Waec

There are about 15 states that were classified as Educationally Less Developed States ELDS states in the 90s and 2000s so we mean Anambra was actually doing worse in WAEC than these ELDS states

I wrote National common entrance in the 80s and Anambra was always one of the states with highest cutoff marks

Yeah but let's credit Anambra academic achievement that was already a thing before Obi was born to Obi

There should be a limit to propaganda but
Like we say, we all know what we are doing

Infact I'd say tinubu at some point last year was the first president in a long time to have issues with him as a result of election support.

After Obi lost the Presidential election, okpansukka was into one regional argument and he didn't know when he angrily asked what Obi did as Governor.

Straight from war front if you gather 200 random Anambra youths in 1970 they won't finish bottom 10 in Nigeria

There are states in Nigeria where half the students writing cannot speak in English more than 4 sentences

So Anambra finished below states where National common entrance is 4.
