At least 3-4 months, but you can also try with less if you are running out of time

Hi guys,
I have NECO, National Diploma(ND), and Higher National Diploma (HND). I haven't gone for NYSC though.
1. Please what level of study can I go for?
2. Can I switch from my HND course (crop production Technology) to another course like health related courses?
3. Can my step father sponsor me?

You can't just switch programs looking at your profile there is no career progression, you don't have work experience in this new field, you can continue based on your level of education, and then switch programs when you have been approved.

Good morning, I am glad to be here to share ideas with intending visitors to Australia especially family stream visa sub section 600. My brother recently applied for Visiting visa to Australia and i want to share the V.O's reasons for denial so we can get another ideas from this platform.
The Decision goes thus :

I have assessed the application and the reasons for my decision are detailed below;

In assessing whether or not the applicant genuinely intends to stay temporarily in Australia, i have taken into account information provided in the application, the applicants immigration history and compliance with previous visas. I have also taken into consideration any supporting documents as well as the applicants personal circumstances, commitments and incentive to return to their country of residence. My decision is based on the following factors.
The applicant has not indicated the presence of any close family members or dependent family members in their home country or usual country of residence. While this does not necessarily indicate the applicant will not comply with any conditions if they were to be granted a subclass 600 visa, applicants maintaining ties to their home country or usual country of residence may indicate evidence of an applicant genuine intention to return home or usual country of residence. Noting the presence of applicants siblings in Australia and the absence of of evidence of any family ties of the applicant to their home country or usual country of residence, I have concerns this may induce the applicant to not return to their home country within the validity of the subclass 600 visa they may be granted. Accordingly, i am not satisfied the applicants sufficiently demonstrates they intend a genuine temporary stay in Australia. I have also taken into account the applicants economic circumstances relative to the economic circumstances in their home country and Australia. The applicant has stated in their application that they are self-employed. I find that incentive to return to work or to hold onto this employment is limited. I am therefore not satisfied the applicants economic circumstances would present an incentive for the applicant to return home country at the end of their proposed visit, given the comparatively greater economic opportunities which might encourage the applicant to remain in Australia.
After considering the information provided, i am not satisfied that the applicant genuinely intends to stay temporarily in Australia for the purpose set out above.

His brother in Australia was the person that handled this application and he only requested C.A.C documents and Leave approval, offer of employment letters for this. Meanwhile when he applied the first time last year by himself, he included both account statements, previous Schengen visa and children's Canadian passports with tax clearance but was refused on same basis of not being convinced about returning to Nigeria.

A more proper advise is required for a follow up . May God bless us all

Yes, spouses of visa holders in Australia are generally allowed to work full-time if the main visa holder is allowed full-time(unrestricted work rights). The work rights of spouses depend on the type of visa held by the primary applicant. For example:

Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) visa (subclass 482): Spouses of primary visa holders are permitted to work full-time without any restrictions.

Student Visa (subclass 500): Spouses of student visa holders can work unlimited hours if the primary applicant is enrolled in a master's degree or higher. However, if the primary applicant is studying at a lower level, such as a bachelor's degree, the spouse's work rights may be limited to 40 hours per fortnight.

Pls is it possible that so I can apply for student visa and take my spouse and kids along at the same time? Also for income tax return, must it match the amount the sponsor projected he earns yearly?

Hello. Are you still in WSU? I've paid tuition and am currently waiting for CoE from them. It's been over a week now and I'm getting close to visa application limit. My agent has sent 2 emails, no response. Do you know anything about how long they take to confirm payment and send CoE or is there a way I can follow up with them?

how did you get fully funded,I got an offer from the university of Newcastle and the deposit is 17000 and I don’t have means to pay for it

Good afternoon house,

Do Universities in Australia accept a 3rd class for masters program or PGD?
Do they allow dependent for Student visa?
If tea, I also need suggestions of good public schools that are affordable that I can apply to for Business management or human resource management PGD program for 2025. Thank you.

Hi bro , as regards your questions.
No University in Australia would accept a 3rd class degree for a masters program, but for Pgd yes(I would advise you run a pgd program for a year in Nigeria first and once you get your result you can apply for a masters with your pgd certificate).
Yes ,they allow dependent for students visa and your dependent can work full time .

You can make use of Google as regards your last questions.

i had 3rd in my BSc, den i did pgd and master in Nigeria.

i used my PGD to secure admission in Australia to study 2nd master's degree now and here i am in i year in Australia already.
so to answer your question, yes, they only accept 3rd class with pgd don already ,except if you will come and do the PGD in Australia and d money is alot, its easy if you can do the 7-8 month PGD in nigeria and try to perform very well atleast 65% average , that way you will use the GOOD (PGD) transcript to secure the admission.

It depends on the school and the programme. For visa too, some persons are exempted (like phd applicants). So you just have to start by checking the requirements of the school you are applying to.
