SonOfDSoil01: Illiterate, the proposal was from the true son of Anioma and has nothing to do with the Igbos in south east, the definition of attach by force is the situation in Lagos where someone from Osun, Ondo, Oyo, Ogun, and Ekiti rule Lagosian, can you allow this kind of politic in you state? answer is No but you have been imposing it on Lagosians, nobody dare to talk or he will be tagged Igbo and destroyed, when Nigeria divide Yorubas will suffer more than any other ethnic in Nigeria because of the high number of Christians and Muslims among you, I am going to watch this movie someday soon, Islam and peace is like oil and water ..... now kiss the truth rasaq

NNNN2024: Lol Na about our discussion yesterday, which particular people influenced ogba language? Cos the bigger people closest to you are igweocha and Owerri...which people exactly do you guys speak their language? Cos your Igbo dialect is different from uli people or even Aba people closer to you?? |
Re: Chinwe Nnabuife Fumes Over Inclusion Of Her Town In The Proposed New State by NNNN2024: 1:03pm On Jun 15 |
BossGerald: Aba is closer to Ikwerre than Ogba. We refer to Igbo people as "Nde Isoma". If they speak, we say they are speaking Isoma "Olu Isoma". If I'm to give a simple answer it's the particular Igbo dialect in the Igbo Bible common in our environ. We don't classify Igbo languages here. We just know Igbo (Isoma) as Igbo. Isoma is what we refer to all Igbo people and their dialects no matter where they are from. 1 Like |
Re: Chinwe Nnabuife Fumes Over Inclusion Of Her Town In The Proposed New State by BossGerald: 1:10pm On Jun 15 |
NNNN2024: So how do you know these Igbo people, since they don't speak same dialect?? I'm telling you that the ogba you speak is a dialect of Igbo language, it's not the Igbo used in the Bible, so you can't possibly claim to learn yours from the Bible. In Enugu state for instance, the refer to ndi Anambra as ndi agbaenu, not Igbos...so how do you know who are Igbos or not. Which particular Igbo people influenced your ogba dialect? |
Re: Chinwe Nnabuife Fumes Over Inclusion Of Her Town In The Proposed New State by NNNN2024: 1:18pm On Jun 15 |
BossGerald: I have replied you very well. Before I answered that question I asked my parents to be sure (I'm currently at home). The reply they gave me that Isoma is Igbo people. Ogba people have always been raised as Ogba people with Benin ancestor. Our Oba always pay yearly homage to the Oba of Benin Kingdom. 1 Like |
Re: Chinwe Nnabuife Fumes Over Inclusion Of Her Town In The Proposed New State by BossGerald: 1:57pm On Jun 15 |
NNNN2024: Awka people also pay homage to igala king, it doesn't make them igala, their ancestors were saved by igala warriors during Aro war or Adda war. Who are the Igbos? How do you tell who's Igbo since they don't even speak same dialect/language?? Do they know the end of Igbo land then(before state creation)?? There must be a particular people they referred to as ISOMA You claim you were influenced by the bigger Igbos, who are they because it's definitely not Anambra or nsukka Igbo that influenced your ogba dialect. You're closer to ohaji egbema people of imo state, do you have any relationship with them? Pls help me ask your dad which Igbo influenced your dialect, it can't be Onitsha because there Igbo and yours are not exactly the same. |
Re: Chinwe Nnabuife Fumes Over Inclusion Of Her Town In The Proposed New State by NNNN2024: 2:11pm On Jun 15 |
BossGerald: I have given you all the best replies. Our Oba pay homage to the Oba of Benin Kingdom because our ancestor is from Benin. We don't classify Igbos, we know them as Nde Isoma. 1 Like |
Re: Chinwe Nnabuife Fumes Over Inclusion Of Her Town In The Proposed New State by BossGerald: 3:06pm On Jun 15 |
NNNN2024: Paying homage is enough to conclude that you're from Bini? Awka people pay homage to igala too and they're not igala. If ogba isn't a dialect of Igbo like nsukka, Owerri, nkanu, ukwuani, ozubulu etc...how do you know who the Igbos are?? Before the state creation, do you know where Igbos end? Who exactly do you refer to as the ISOMA then? You can't tell me you refer Igbos as ISOMA yet you don't know who are Igbos and who are not...how do you know Igbos?? Which bigger Igbo group influenced your ogba dialect? How do you differentiate between Owerri, nsukka or ukwuani language if you aren't told exactly where they're from?? My main question is who exactly are the ISOMA?? |
Re: Chinwe Nnabuife Fumes Over Inclusion Of Her Town In The Proposed New State by NNNN2024: 3:16pm On Jun 15 |
BossGerald: Let me use capital letters in case na small letters be the problem... ISOMA IS THE TERM WE USE TO DESCRIBE IGBO PEOPLE AND THEIR LANGUAGE. IF YOU CLAIM TO BE IGBO OR SPEAK IGBO, WE REFER TO YOU AS ISOMA. OUR OBA PAY HOMAGE TO THE OBA OF BENIN BECAUSE OUR ANCESTOR IS FROM BENIN KINGDOM. 1 Like |
Re: Chinwe Nnabuife Fumes Over Inclusion Of Her Town In The Proposed New State by BossGerald: 5:17pm On Jun 15 |
NNNN2024: Lol, once I claim to be Igbo or speak Igbo, I am ISOMA?? Don't you know the language you call ogba that you speak today is Igbo?? Your ogba dialect is also Igbo but you claim to be from Bini... My question is "HOW" do you know Igbo language that you call ISOMA, because a core Owerri man will find it very difficult to understand nkanu man at once. So how were you able to group them as Igbos then? Bini empire captured so many kingdoms then who still pay them homage till today, have you not also heard that the oba of Bini throne is of Yoruba heritage?? Paying homage is a sign of servitude or appreciation not necessarily an origin. Many kingdoms that originated from NRI kingdom don't even know the geographical location of their origin today. |
Re: Chinwe Nnabuife Fumes Over Inclusion Of Her Town In The Proposed New State by NNNN2024: 6:53pm On Jun 15 |
BossGerald: I HAVE TOLD YOU EVERYTHING. OGBA'S ANCESTOR IS AKALAKA FROM BENIN KINGDOM, SAME WITH EKPEYE. OGBA AND EKPEYE ARE BROTHERS. WE DON'T SPEAK IGBO. WE KNOW OUR ORIGIN. |
Re: Chinwe Nnabuife Fumes Over Inclusion Of Her Town In The Proposed New State by BossGerald: 7:13pm On Jun 15 |
NNNN2024: Bro you have sense of reasoning, think, ask yourself questions...is paying homage enough evidence to show that you're from Bini that you don't have any linguistic or even cultural (to an extent) relationship with Ogba is not Igbo language but when you speak other igboid groups like nsukka, ukwuani etc understands you but Bini where you claim your ancestors were from can never understand you. That I call nsukka people ndi nsukka(like you say ISOMA) doesn't mean we don't share same ancestors. That you call obigbo or Owerri people ndi ISOMA does not mean your aren't ancestrally related. "Igbo" is an invented word, before the word came into existence we bear the names of our ancestors, which linguistically and culturally suggest that we are one. Think about it in your sobber time. |
Re: Chinwe Nnabuife Fumes Over Inclusion Of Her Town In The Proposed New State by NNNN2024: 7:19pm On Jun 15 |
BossGerald: I HAVE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING. WE ARE SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF AKALAKA. WE ARE NOT IGBOS. IGBOS (NDE ISOMA) ARE OUR GOOD NEIGHBOURS. |
Re: Chinwe Nnabuife Fumes Over Inclusion Of Her Town In The Proposed New State by BossGerald: 8:09pm On Jun 15 |
NNNN2024: Your explanation is not logical a bit. You failed to tell who exactly are nde ISOMA, Igbos general don't speak exactly same way. You can't call obigbo man and nsukka man nde ISOMA when their dialect isn't same and even related to yours. It's obvious the Biafran war took a very negative toll on your people, but then it's very very illogical to say you're from Bini that you have no slightest thing in common with. Yorubas too have obas, are they from Bini too?? You said the bigger Igbos influenced your ogba language, then I ask which particular people cos the people you call Igbos don't speak exactly same way...the nearest bigger group to you are Owerri and obigbo. Are obigbo people Igbos? Try and be logical |
