senatordave1: Ungrateful you say.. Wike won't take one tenth of what he is dishing out.. Is he the first person to rule the state... Ain't you surprise Odili that has been a back bone and a political godfather fell out with him and it's not supporting him? Fubara has been with him for 8 years and thats enough to learn all it takes.. The loyalist will be divided soon trust me..I repeat there is no room for godfatherism in Rivers state.. How many people will power drunk people impeach before you people know this because the next person will be worse… I see men like Magnus Abe now licking his ass , give Magnus power and Wike will run away from PH.. lol 2 Likes 1 Share |

Frankiss44: Fubara cannot win, even amechi couldn't win wike.only Magnus abe defeated wike once and he's with wike now.even fubara's ijaws are now divided.if fubara didn't want this,he should never have accepted to be governor.besides, fubara looks like an incompetent leader so why bother ourselves 3 Likes |

Peacecore:You just spoke like a novice and thinks impeaching a governor is as easy as changing a gear. Oga rest. Go and read chapter 2. Part 2. Section 188. Subsection, 5, 6, 7 and 8. Fubara now have his Chief judge after removing Wike's loyalist. Apart from that, this case go run enter supreme Court that will finally sack the lawmakers for defection as that is the Law. |

BondRiv:Mr. Man, does two wrongs make a right? Tenure elongation is anti constitution, same way choosing of caretakers for administer LGAs. You can fault one and start hailing the other. Both are constitutionally wrong. It's just like to when the tenure of Mr. President ends and you're asking him to elongate it. Does that know go against the constitution, when in actual sense the constitution recognizes Four years as a term and not four years and a day. Spending an extra day had ran foul of the law. Yes, there must be election but should that warrant making a law not in tandem with the constitution? When we are not living in Banana republic. I think every reasonable person's should be prevailing on the governor to conduct election instead of committing illegality, as you people want. |

Joshy4u:Many of them think impeachment is a tea party or ten ten the children do as role play. They don't know is a high mountain to climb. With Fubara having the chief judge of the state in his pocket, their thought for an impeachment died a natural death the day Fubara appointed his loyalist. He's the one to choose who to seat to determine the import of the allegation that may be leveled against the governor. I thought of impeachment will just be an academic exercise if carried out. Peacecore please note impeachment of a governor is not going to market and buy tomatoes and pepper. 1 Like |

Frankiss44:I don't do emotional politics.By the time Tinubu have there time even a governor will be put to his place. Kano governor tasted briefly what federal might look like just some few weeks ago when he gave order to police commissioner/security officials to arrest Ado Bayero and was told court orders will be strictly followed and his orders was thrown to the Dustbin. |
Re: Pro-Wike Vs Fubara Lawmakers: Appeal Court Orders Parties To Maintain Status Quo by Joshy4u: 2:35pm On Jun 15 |
IfnobeGod20: The problem with some of them is that they are mistaking the time of Obasanjo, when most Governors and the populace do not know their left from right to this era that we no go gree spirit don enter Governors body. And the so called blind Wike's loyalist should know that those fighting Wike are numerous in the state and South-South. A region where you have most militant as Ijaws ready to support their own. All 4 past Governors including Odili's wife are against Wike. These set of people are the people that made Wike powerful then. Presently, Wike just have few 'Yes Sir boys'...... |

BondRiv: Sadly, a vacuum will be created on the 17th of June and by a law made by these same rascal Amaewhule comitee of friends, you need a 90 day notice before election is conducted. Caretake comitee appointment is UNCONSTITUTIONAL , yes quite all right but the Rivers State local government law allows for its use to avoid a vacuum. Forget all this long talk. Fubara will appoint a CTC in all LGs and heaven won't fall. Wike did the same. |
