⚡ “Those who do not come from Russia's neighboring countries should understand that many of us are worried. We have 1,300 kilometers of border with Russia. Since the 1300s we have had over 30 wars and battles with Russia. During World War II, Russia invaded Finland. We lost 10% of our territory, including the lands where my grandparents were born and where my father was born. That's why our reaction was so vehement." - Finnish President Stubb

⚡Polish President Duda speaking at Zelensky’s peace summit in Switzerland: “Russia, called the ‘prison of nations,’ is home to 200+ ethnic groups, most acquired through colonial methods. Unlike European powers, Russia never decolonized and remains the world's largest colonial empire”

⚡ I represent that part of the world where Russia is often called a prison of nations. Russia remains the largest colonial empire in the world and, unlike European states, Russia has not undergone the process of decolonization. - Polish President Duda |

⚡Men are increasingly attempting to breach the western border every day, said Andriy Demchenko, a representative of Ukraine's State Border Guard Service. “Unfortunately, these attempts continue, and we record such individuals every day. They should not be called draft dodgers; they are primarily border violators,” he stated. He tried to reassure citizens by noting that some of the escapees are under 25 years old and therefore not subject to mobilization. However, he clarified that they are still prohibited from leaving the country due to Zelensky's mobilization orders.

⚡President of Colombia Gustavo Francisco Petro criticizes the absence of Russia and suggests a security zone to separate NATO from Russia. The setting of the Swiss forum is not a free forum to discuss the paths to peace between Russia and Ukraine. Your conclusions are already predetermined. Most of Latin America and the Colombian government do not agree with extending the war. We did not join political blocs for war. I suspend my trip to the meeting in Switzerland and I ask Europe to debate the ways to shorten the war and not to extend it. The dialogue between Russia and Ukraine is essential. The establishment of a security zone without nuclear weapons that physically separates NATO from Russia, allowing the permanent security of the former Soviet and Eastern European nations, absolute respect for the Russian and Ukrainian peoples within Ukraine and Russia. The prudence of the European Union in its expansion so as not to unleash war. 11 Likes 1 Share

⚡Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan: “We have the Ukrainian peace plan in front of us, and Russia has recently shared some terms. Regardless of the content and the conditions put forward, these are important steps and a glimpse of hope to start with. However, each side regards the other party’s steps as an extension of a broader war effort. This conference, therefore, may be the last exit before the bridge. Excellencies I must also note that this summit could have been more result-oriented if the other party to the conflict Russia was present in the room. We believe there is a growing need for a comprehensive and inclusive strategy that employs diplomacy and negotiations to reinforce measures already in play.” 5 Likes

Michaeltreasure:So Nigeria is useless in terms of economics? Do you know how vast the Nigerian market is in terms of importation? Majority of those counties you call parasites are rich in many mineral and natural resources that the west would do anything to acquire. Imagine these nations trading according to their own terms, not the ones some western bullies reads out to them as diktats. Every nation that joins BRICS today is giving itself an economic lifeline of fairness, equality, mutual respect and independence tomorrow because it allows them to break free from the shackles of unfair western economic practices and gunboat diplomacy. 1 Like |

WriteerNg: At no point in the last 10,000 years of recorded history did the Han and Indus civilizations ever have a continental free-for-all. Skirmishes? Sure! But an all-out winner-takes-all total war to vanquish one another? Hell will freeze over first. Anyone in Washington pinning their hopes of victory on Indian cannon fodder is delusional. LordAdam16: It's pure lunacy my brother. When Beijing entered the Korean war, body bags in the thousands started returning home to DC. And that was a less advanced China as at the time. Take a look at this same China today. Each time I see or read about US war mongering hawks wanting a war with China, and Russia, I cannot help but conclude that truly, man is a failed project on this planet. 8 Likes 1 Share |

LordAdam16: The big boys won't fight militarily, very unlikely. It's most like any economic battle via tarrifs and sanctions. India is a viable option to reduce or even replace China's cheap labour. And India is positioning itself for this responsibility. Do you know how many times China devalued it's currency to maintain this advantage? 1 Like |
