superbloke:We have always had foreign coaches. It is even the idea of local coaches that meets with resistance. And to say that all that has happened was planned to happen is outlandish as if the NFF are God such that they could control all outcomes just so we can be 2nd on the lower wrung of the ladder. Who benefits if we qualify? Is it you or the NFF officials? |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by chrisooblog: 1:11pm On Jun 16 |
NFF was probably thinking Federal Government would pay the bills of the foreign coach which is a big ask considering the state of the economy. Like you I sincerely don't believe the NFF would willfully sabotage our WC qualification campaign but they have the tendency to always make head scratching poor decisions that leave lasting negative impact on national team football. Bro everything no be who be pesin favorite or not. Victor messed with that video full stop. Osimhen is someone I greatly admire but his fans and close supporters will be doing him a disservice if you don't call him out for poor behavior. We shouldn't be pampering nonsense behavior. kellycute: 2 Likes |

TheSuperNerd: Exactly the NFF is the source of all these problems, I was just waiting for Osimhen or Finidi or somebody to name names fgs, but right now we will be passing blames from Osimhen to Finidi while the real culprits go scot free |

kellycute: No one hates osimhen but he needs to grow up You can clear the air but not ranting any how. Even talking down the team super eagles. See no player can be bigger than the national team. The last time it was Victor Ikpeba and now Finidi George All the ex stars Igbalo and Annichebe has shut him down Omo he needs to express himself without insulting 2 Likes 1 Share |

robosky02: Osimhen did not talk down on the S.E... If Finidi had won the 2 WCQ matches then the rant would not have happened... that is how most Nigerians express themselves... when 2 Nigerians are shouting at each other they are always insulting... 1 Like |

Goke7: Osimhen is fully committed to the team. Let everyone just chill. It is alright. Osimhen will get back to doing what he does best for the Super Eagles, fighting for success. Finidi is his big brother and definitely will understand that Osimhen's burst up came from a misunderstanding. Even though he overstepped his boundaries, I believe Finidi will not have any ill feelings towards him. Let us shun the misunderstanding and focus on what truly matters, getting the Super Eagles back in full gear and Osimhen ia part of tbat. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Subzerooo: NFF is partly to blame.. however Finidi takes the most blame because he did not win any of the WCQ matches.. is it the NFF that said Amokachi, Ndubuisi Egbo, Amunike, Eguavoen e.t.c. should not assist or help Finidi to ensure WC qualifications... when I watch EPL or UCL the assistants and the coaches are always talking to each other.. however, when it comes to the S.E the coach is always a lonely figure... its only Super Falcons coach Randy Waldrum that have seen talking to his assistants.. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by robosky02(m): 2:27pm On Jun 16 |
codemaniacs: Oga that an unciviliced way of actings I do not like FINIDI's coaching style isn't enough reason to throw caution to the wind. Finidi is a Nigerian legend, he won the nations cup, played at the world Cup, won champions League, won the Eredevise and a host of other titles in his playing days. He was at some point adjudged to be the best Right winger in world Football.. Victor osimhen 9 could still have made his point without being so rude and disrespectful. Because FINIDI is a Coach doesn't mean he should be disrespected by any player.. You could have passed your message with respect. He is the coach for heaven sakes... 1 Like 1 Share |

Mujtahida: They probably didn't expect everything to manifest so soon, but I wouldn't put it past them to expect that down the line, our play and results will not be encouraging. We know how they sabotage previous coaches or wait for us to qualify (after struggling) and then start shouting "foreign coach". And like someone said, they make really stupid decisions that you begin to wonder. There are some decisions a person makes you begin to suspect they aren't stupid but deliberate. It happens a lot with our politicians and civil servants. All I'm saying is everything is smelling because the NFF are continuously making seemingly stupid decisions that, if you are someone who can read patterns and connect dots, may not be so stupid after all. |
