Onanuga is saying that the federal government cannot channel all the resources in satisfying labour workers who are not up to 10% of the population, that there are the private sector and the ones who are self-employed.

Do they even give a fvck about the latter?

Labour made a mistake calling off the strike dis period they have the full support of the pple and industries. Even nepa shutdown national grid..

Getting all those pple and industries support again if dey shld call for another strike will be difficult. And Tinubu won't take them seriously.

For your safety, sanity and sound health, never trust a politician. In different fora, Tinubu promised to pay Nigerian workers a "living wage". So in Nigeria, a living wage is N62,000 while a bag of rice is N85,000.

FG pushes for 62,000 starvation wage should be the correct heading
Re: Minimum Wage: FG Pushes ₦‎62,000 Pay Despite Labour’s Opposition by ElevationD: 7:22am On Jun 17
Labour has requested for political office holders to accept the same minimum wage for themselves.

APC/BAT should return the price of petrol to the same 163 naira that he met it in 2023.

Naira exchange rate should revert to what is was before Tinubu took over.

Prices of food products should revert to where they were when Tinubu took over.

They cannot continue to receive millions in wages monthly and expect the rest of Nigeria to live in penury.

Bayo Onanuga seems to talk in very unreasonable ways. He has forgotten so quickly that salary and wages paid by FG and states, impacts the prices of goods and services nationwide. Once the FG increases salaries, inflation follows. One must ask the unwise Mr. Onanuga is the fallout inflation impacts just the 10% of the population that he talked about.

The said 62,000 cannot suffice, with the present economic realities in focus.

States can actually pay more than the FG. The reason why States don't want to do that is because they will say there are receiving FAAC from the FG and give all manner of excuses which can only be eaten by gullible thinkers.
The raising of the salary wage to #70K in Edo State by Obaseki is only political and because of the forth coming election.
It's just the same thing Dickson did in Bayelsa State towards the end of his tenure when he felt the opposition will win the election. Politicians don't do anything good without them taking undue pride in applauding themselves in it.

How many states can afford even that 62k ?
Tell us the state governor who does not travel with the state money to go overseas some will go with 30 or more people have you never hear usa governor coming to Nigeria, my own advice is that they should cut the money of those useless SENATORS too they are taking millions of naira doing nothing just to sit down some hve not pass any bill since they are in they place
Re: Minimum Wage: FG Pushes ₦‎62,000 Pay Despite Labour’s Opposition by Inosky: 7:25am On Jun 17
They have dribbled labour to a corner they can't return to strike action because once they pass the bill, it's over for labour. Tinupooo is bad for Nigerian workers, he's only good for political elites (rubber stamp lawmakers), INEC (chairman and commissioners) and judiciary judges.

These are the key people for his election rigging agenda.

In what way(s)?

I'm sure you are not supporting NLC, so how is he useless? Because he's fighting the present government for a living wage or because you "know" he has been bought over?

The LU in those States should be the one to call the attention of the NLC and sometimes the employees in those States are comfortable about it or they have been thoroughly compromised. So you don't expect the National to do otherwise.
You remember when the NLC chairman was beaten in one of the Eastern States for trying to go enforce a strike action?

You have never been reasonable.

Clamoring to get the “living wage” that your Tinubu promised has made Ajaero useless? Can you tell us how Ajaero has become the most useless labour leader?

By the way, do you have anything to do for a living? Or are you still spoon fed by your parents? You never talk reasonably. Read all your comments and you will find your own comments very unreasonable.
