Very good. He should be sanctioned. He insult a Nigerian coach and Nigeria football fans. Even when The whole Napoli ridiculed him, he didn't give this kind of outburst. Rather Nigerian fans had his back now he went live and was insulting his parents.

If he doesn't tender a public apology, he should be ostracized from the NT.

I don't believe this Nigerian govt on any matter. Finidi and Victor are brothers and will solve the matter as such. The NFF is there to only take sides for personal gains and not for the good of our football.

And you too is taking side with osimhen, osimhen has no proof to show finidi saying such whereby also the video where he osimhen said ogun kill everybody for Nigeria, and playing for Nigeria no be anything is everywhere..and u expect NFF should sidown look abi..

Nonsense! We all know Nigeria is a country where majorities place personal interest first, even if he's fit, he has the the right to come and play or choose to be partying in Napoli, beside how many ex super eagles apart from personal saving and club support has received any benefit from the government?

Then how is that his problem? U hold the people that peddle the fake story then. It's clear. That's why there is provision by law to address things like that. That's the areas our regulators are failing

The govt should take the blame and enforce the law against the media house for fake news. That's how u bring a lasting solution to things. We want temporary solutions and that's why Nigeria is not progressing. If the laws works all these will not be issues we start to deliberate about on social media. The failure of leadership affects every other thing

Good move from NFF, Osimhen is very stupid to have insulted his coach and Nigerians

Other strikers will be wishing he gets banned, that would give them opportunity to play.

Maybe Osimhen doesn't know how competitive that No.9 position is in Nigeria.
There are even foreign based Nigerian strikers hoping to be called up for the Eagles

NFF may just make it an indefinite suspension, while weighing his performance next season at clubside

If there is consensus of morality then it should reflect in laws. In developed societies actions are not guided by morality it is guided by laws. That's why I say our education is a mess cos we go to school to learn how to read but not to learn how to reason.

NFF should just get him to apologize to Finidi George; tender a public apology and everyone will be fine. Most times, people focus on how we react to things without asking what led to our reactions. For saying that Osimhen doesn't want to play for the Eagles, Finidi was inciting Nigerians against Osimhen.

Finidi never said that. Osimhen reacted to fake news finidi called him to clarify what he said. Or didn't you read that.

So even he had no fact but only acted on hear say...and that level of banter he threw on social media and even posted it...at a point he even switched to Yoruba and placed curse on Nigerians ...lol ..

With how much bad people have said about Ronaldo and Messi I think they should do live videos everyday and curse anybody papa...

It's very obvious ....victor is arrogant ..he isn't educated and lacks respect and moral..

With how much shit they have don to him in Napoli ...why haven't he done live video and curse the fan...

Now mark my words....he will likely still be in Napoli this season ..most clubs are not even showing interest as much in him anymore and again most top coach monitoring him will see that video ...

He should get the Bleep out of the team...if he can say sorry...Finidi is even old enough to be his uncle..such an idiot
Pure Edo boy Character that's how they behave could be uncouth sometimes ...I get Edo friends I know what am saying

Why are you towing the line Osimhen towed. Even in the report, it was said Finidi didn't even say that.

Let us verify things before we react....it's pretty simple. If I were him, I had called the coach to confirm, yet, the coach called him to even deny such, Osimhen remained adamant... that's the height of arrogance.

Re: NFF To Punish Victor Osimhen Over Improper Conduct by djnhazzy: 12:00pm On Jun 18
He plays his heart out for Nigeria and should have been treated with more respect. There are players in the national team that are just occupying space yet they get all the respect and honor. Let’s call a spade a spade. How come we didn’t win either of the two matches VO didn’t play? Is Eyimba 🐘FC same as SUPER EAGLES🦅? There’s more to that outburst fr.
It’s high time NFF started making the right calls as regards the national team. For years, we haven’t had a player like VO(African best). Not tryna justify his action but we all need to understand he’s also human regardless.
How’s this BAT 🦇 tenure treating y’all? Have you done your DOBALE for the fathers land that’s turned mothers land.
May God help us all🙏

No this is the best time to punish him- I will rather we miss the world cup than allow what Victor did to stand because IF this situation is not nipped on the bud right now, it will set a wrong precedence in the team that certain players can get away with anything, and one day, someone like Osihmen will slap a Coach - and it will be free for all fight, do you want the Super Eagles to be in the news for such event? na so e take dey start, when misbehavior is overlooked and not punished- it will blgrow wings until it becomes a normal thing for Coaches to be slapped by players - Victor must be punished

In the last nations cup, Ghanaian fans almost physically attacked the players of the black stars at their hotel entrance, they poured insults on them and mocked them like say tomorrow no dey - they blocked their bus from even leaving the hotel - they blamed key players like Mohammed Kudus, the Ayew Brothers (Dede and Jordan) for the poor showing of the Black Stars, did any of these players swear Ogun for the fans ?

- IF France can do without Kareem Benzema when he was World Player of the Year, definitely Osimhen is not bigger than Nigeria

In 1989, Some Super Eagles players then did almost what Victor did right now - they talked trash to the press about NFF and demanded for $30,000 to be payed to them upfront before they show up for camp at Algiers’1990 Nations cup

Players like (now Late) Steven Keshi, (now Late) Phillip Osondu, Samson Siasia and co held the nation to ransom and we were all panicking about our nations cup showing - You know what Clemens Westerhoff, our Dutch technical adviser did then ? he expelled all of them from the team - these were Nigeria’s best then - we still came back from that tournament with Silver Medal even though our boys were very inexperienced, they were very hungry for success because they never expected such opportunity.

Westerhoff threw the camp open for whoever wants to play to come play—/ many unknown players came and one of them was a 17 year old Daniel Amokachi from Ranchers Bees of Kaduna, Others were Ben Iroha, Toyin Ayinla, Ayo (Dodo) Ogunlana, Uche Okechukwu, Osita Aniweke, Ajibade Babalade, Moses Kpakor, Friday Elahor, Thompson Oliha, Alloy Agu, Isaac Semitoje, Herbet Anijekwu, Emma Okocha (Jay Jay Okocha’s elder brother) and a few others that became the best Super Eagles of 1994

And when the recalcitrant players like Keshi found out that Nigeria survived without them, they became more commited and issued apology to the team and country and their patriotism spiked. That event taught me a leason that in life, learn to let go for certain things to work out

So Stop displaying fear and weakness by trying to cuddle nonsense - Victor must be punished and if he cant take the punishment let him retire from International football, he is not the first to do so and he wont be the last- the world does not revolve around Osimhen

If my favorite player ever and the deadliest and most lethal finisher in world football history - Marco Van Basten could retire at a very young age of 25 because of Injury and the world of football did not stop, then Osimhen can retire from the super eagles and the world of Nigerian football will continue, talents abound in Nigeria - he will not be missed more than 6 months trust me!!!!
Oga you wrote an epistle because of what Osimen did? I want to believe you don't have any personal issue with him

If NFF doesn't do something about that rude boy it should forget about Super Eagles and Focus on Beach Soccer or Nigerian Premier League.... Evidences that we are rudderless nation is all over church mosque , Government school s even sports ...
Argentinian criticism of Messi span almost 14yrs before he won the world Cup ...Saka was nodded for loosing penalty it was so bad that he almost gave up, Rooney was even worst like wise lampard to the extent the British people were contemplating not allowing foreigners to play in the English Premier League ....But today England is a country to reckon with in Football
