yes, you need to be there at the biometric centre at least 30mins before your appointment time
united4men:
Please is it only passport and appointment confirmation that is required when going for biometrics?

Can someone go for biometrics earlier than the time stated on the appointment confirmation?

Hi guys. It's been a while. My trip was smooth and amazing. Our business meeting cum training was also a huge success.

By the way,I said in my last comment on this thread that I'd only come back here again whenever I'm ready to renew my TRV in case I need help...cos we don't know it all. The amazing news I heard made me change my mind.

I was compelled to come here and share with you a piece of vital information to anyone who may be interested. There's a programme reeled out in Canada on the 3rd of June which I'd like to share with you. This will help the would-be japa peeps in embarking on a fast route to obtaining a PR. As a matter of fact, the PR will be issued on arrival as announced by the Canadian Government.

Please read the link below on the Canadian official website for details.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/news/2024/06/canada-announces-new-pilot-programs-to-support-caregivers-and-canadian-families.html

If I were you, I'd just look for any caregiver school online, enrol and earn a certificate beforehand. This programme will start at the end of the year or at the beginning of 2025. The care giver's course won't take more than a week to conclude. As over 15m Canadian citizens are billed for retirement soon, caregivers will be needed to take care of their needs and there's going to be shortage of caregivers as anticipated.

Good luck to you guys.

For visa-related inquiries, it is advisable to submit a webform rather than an email, as responses to emails may not be prompt unless the matter pertains to urgent citizen issues and not visa services.

I don’t have a U.S. visa. On the contrary I’ve been denied U.S. visa 4 times which I declared in my application.

Let just share the truth so not mislead others, in march 2024 u responded to Eriokanmi quote on usa visa can plus ,you said you qualify for can plus which means you have usa visa but today you said you have no usa visa.

You are right. It’s not compulsory to share. I only shared because timelines shared by others were a big source of encouragement to me and I was only looking to encourage others.

Tourist visa. But my dates for travel had passed since April. I sent many emails and web forms but they didn’t even reply any.

I’m currently in the employ of an oil and gas company that did a solid introduction letter for me guaranteeing my return, so that might have helped my application.

I also got my Uk visa and travelled to the UK after I submitted my application but I don’t think that counts.

I was beginning to lose hope when I heard from people that there were many rejections. But praise God. Better late than never.

Certainly, sharing information is not obligatory, but it is morally reprehensible to spread fabricated tales of success that favor deceitful visa agents and disadvantage innocent applicants. You clearly stated that your application was "can plus," and we all understand English. Additionally, I work in the oil and gas company sector too and the company never guarantee anyone's return unless it is an official assignment for visa application. they only issue a letter of identification that includes one's work and position. Nevertheless, people on social media should be vigilant about the veracity of the information they believe. This is because I have observed an agent using a screenshot of your testimony today to falsely encourage their clients with a purported recent success story of obtaining a Canadian visa without travel history and after a U.S. visa denial, even though many have been rejected.

In fact I’m tired. I have stated that the can plus I was inquiring about was for someone else. But oh well, I rest my case. Why would I even come here and lie? What exactly will I gain from it? Am I an agent ? No. Well I appreciate the scrutiny but then again I now understand why people don’t like to share timelines 🤦‍♀️
