If that 2022 world cup ain't spectacular for historical rewatching, then you're dealing with something
That's the best world cup by almost all accounts and that final? Absolutely exhilarating. Mbappe and Messi don't know what they did that day. Saga

Morocco used haram football to get to the semi finals of the World Cup, a feat that would be difficult for any African team to beat in the future now that’s a Morocco that has the antecedent of knocking the ball around, but they had to adapt when the occasion demands
Ghana Just needed a 1 on 1 with keeper to get to the semifinals of the world cup….omo Africa need to step up with that word “determination”….there is no way we are dominating these week in week out UCL,UEL,EPL,LA LIGA, SERIE A players….laiye laiye….we just need to look for a pattern
Long term plan, pele oo by 2070 we no go stil dominate and win WC

Could the now rampant endemic football be the reason why City players are flopping?
IMO, the mode of creating a specific system has eliminated players' individual quality. The implication of this is that they usually look ordinary outside this system.
I'm not concluding yet sha...let's wait for next round of matches.
Bro, this is a beautiful proposition worth exploring.
Many people have attributed the loss of personal initiative in modern football to tiki taka which is the number one system football.

But actually, you are actually right. Guardiola's success is a lot hinged on how fantastic his players are but a lot has to do with the system.

Most of our players need their teammates in sync with the system to flourish. A lot of our players performances comes from combined efforts.

So it is likely they won't be stellar on an individual capacity.
This is one reason why I say tiki taka is corrupt.

You can see what I have been saying. It was all an agenda to keep Amunike out of the job.

The Minister of Sports says he has no money for a foreign coach, so we are stuck with a local coach.

The credible one in line is Amunike, and Collin Udoh is proposing we don't employ until Samson Siasia's ban is over. With the idea there is nothing to do.

Collin should know that we know an earlier appointment is early preparation. Time for the coach to study previous tapes of the team. Study tapes of the squad, matches played with the Super Eagles and their clubs. Also studying eligible players.

We also need to study our opponents, prepare the right coaching crew etc. These is actually no time to wait for Siasia's ban to elapse but Agenda must Agend.
Do you know for sure if appointing Amunike will get us qualified?
Oya, they should appoint him. I'm all for our qualification. I'm not hung on any specific person

You have 90mins to decide whether you go through or not. You are so dedicated to so called format but like Ukraine, you're 3 goals down. Hearts are beating fast and you're still eager to be doing aimless passes upandan. It is a total underestimating of opponents!! There are many teams that DELIBERATELY allow possession teams to have the ball because it is part of their own BiG Plan. Madrid dey play tiki taka ni. They pause at 9ucl for everyone to catch up kon do 3peat and then Don Carlo took over.

"City outplayed them even if Madrid went through"

😂😂😂

Metrics for National football are however different. Who wants to wait for 5years for pattern to yield when about 3 to 5 major tournaments are there and teams with their own approach are winning it??

There's no sport in the world that i follow, that will ever make me think my own idea of approach is the ONLY WAY to succeed. NEVER...

All we need to do is build on our successes not all those mumbo jumbo sexy or penetrating passes football that won’t bring anything but pain like we have now

No African team right now will smell Egypt Afcon record by using tiki taka in a short period of time especially when all it takes to break hearts and make a Peter Drury scream like a madman is a Manolas moment or a Trent Arnold and Origi/wijnaldum milliseconds. Who cares if you had 1000% for 900mins? The same Barca is struggling sef currently.

Odunayaw, read the comments. I think a time is coming when there's going to be a philosophical revolt against this poison called tiki taka. People are tired of it.

I resist tiki taka not necessarily for footballing reasons. Jacques Ellul in his book the 'Technological Society' predicted just what we are seeing in football today.

Odunayaw has posted a very important YouTube short. Please for those who have been following my campaign (yes it has become a crusade for me), endeavor to read the comments on the link. Only one coach is being mentioned as being responsible for killing football. Was Gaurdiola sent to come and do this demolition job?

Westerhoff threw the camp open for whoever wants to play to come play—/ many unknown players came and one of them was a 17 year old Daniel Amokachi from Ranchers Bees of Kaduna, Others were Ben Iroha, Toyin Ayinla, Ayo (Dodo) Ogunlana, Uche Okechukwu, Osita Aniweke, Ajibade Babalade, Moses Kpakor, Friday Elahor, Thompson Oliha, Alloy Agu, Isaac Semitoje, Herbet Anijekwu, Emma Okocha (Jay Jay Okocha’s elder brother) and a few others that became the best Super Eagles of 1994

Now people don't even want open Camp for U17.

I don't think Martinez is speaking against the possessive game. He is just explaining it and pointing out it strengths.

What Pep Guardiola actually did was improve players in general and stop individuals from standing out. He made football a team game and not an individual game.

People want an individual game and heroes destroying everybody. Today it is hard for that because everybody is now better and defend better.

Gaurdiola was a DM in his time. A destroyer. That's what he's still doing today but with shine shine so people cannot see it for the ugliness that it is.

How many years did we spend with Rohr, Eguavoen and Peseiro?

It is better we spent it on a better developmental National team program. A long term plan defeats a short term approach.

Finito.
