Nacho can. I don't remember Vicmo hitting any long-rangers though.

Iheanacho has a couple of them

I had extremely high hopes for Etebo, expected him to dominate the Championship and then get into the EPL.

But the Championship seems to have not been a good place for him.

Last I heard he was in the Greek league he only 28 can't understand his drop in form.

At one stage he was the best box to box midfield player we had, I thought he would have been the next Ngole Kante.

That second Portugal goal shouldn't have stood, a Czech player was fouled by Semedo leading to that goal.

Ref was rubbish.

I've checked his profile. He is a very good and experienced coach. He has coached in the Belgian league. Achieving success with teams on a low budget and average players.
He has the experience and cannot be intimidated by our star players and knows how to counter an opposing coach strategy. He has even been profiled on total football analysis.com website where his tactics are discussed.
He should succeed.

In the last nations cup, Ghanaian fans almost physically attacked the players of the black stars at their hotel entrance, they poured insults on them and mocked them like say tomorrow no dey - they blocked their bus from even leaving the hotel - they blamed key players like Mohammed Kudus, the Ayew Brothers (Dede and Jordan) for the poor showing of the Black Stars, did any of these players swear Ogun for the fans ?

- IF France can do without Kareem Benzema when he was World Player of the Year, definitely Osimhen is not bigger than Nigeria

"In 1989, Some Super Eagles players then did almost what Victor did right now - they talked trash to the press about NFF and demanded for $30,000 to be payed to them upfront before they show up for camp at Algiers’1990 Nations cup

Players like (now Late) Steven Keshi, (now Late) Phillip Osondu, Samson Siasia and co held the nation to ransom and we were all panicking about our nations cup showing - You know what Clemens Westerhoff, our Dutch technical adviser did then ? he expelled all of them from the team - these were Nigeria’s best then - we still came back from that tournament with Silver Medal even though our boys were very inexperienced, they were very hungry for success because they never expected such opportunity.

Westerhoff threw the camp open for whoever wants to play to come play—/ many unknown players came and one of them was a 17 year old Daniel Amokachi from Ranchers Bees of Kaduna, Others were Ben Iroha, Toyin Ayinla, Ayo (Dodo) Ogunlana, Uche Okechukwu, Osita Aniweke, Ajibade Babalade, Moses Kpakor, Friday Elahor, Thompson Oliha, Alloy Agu, Isaac Semitoje, Herbet Anijekwu, Emma Okocha (Jay Jay Okocha’s elder brother) and a few others that became the best Super Eagles of 1994

And when the recalcitrant players like Keshi found out that Nigeria survived without them, they became more commited and issued apology to the team and country and their patriotism spiked. That event taught me a leason that in life, learn to let go for certain things to work out

So Stop displaying fear and weakness by trying to cuddle nonsense - Victor must be punished and if he cant take the punishment let him retire from International football, he is not the first to do so and he wont be the last- the world does not revolve around Osimhen

If my favorite player ever and the deadliest and most lethal finisher in world football history - Marco Van Basten could retire at a very young age of 25 because of Injury and the world of football did not stop, then Osimhen can retire from the super eagles and the world of Nigerian football will continue, talents abound in Nigeria - he will not be missed more than 6 months trust me!!!!"

How many years did we spend with Rohr, Eguavoen and Peseiro?

It is better we spent it on a better developmental National team program. A long term plan defeats a short term approach.

Finito.
spot on but you have to show workings along the way, not that we’ll be struggling against Benin and Rwanda and you want us to believe that you have a long term plan

Not true. Rohr is earning half of what Nigeria was paying him in Benin ($25k). To be fair, Rohr is better than Peseiro..

Yes Victor Osimhen goofed and left for NFF to decide.

Westerhoff didi not threw eagles camp open but worked with NPFL coaches to get the best from the league when it was obvious that some professional players are finding it difficult to get release from their clubs….Keshi and Siasia did not demand any money to play for Nigeria,in fact Keshi forced his way to play two matches for Nigeria during Afcon 1988 and Siasia was not released by Lokeren, then it was difficult to get players release.Westerhoff in 1990 was at crossroads cuz he never knew it was like this in Africa.

Westerhoff did not expelled any player from eagles but made sure his best and invited players were released for him after Afcon 1990 drama, reason why he got his bests in Senegal 92

Westerhoff watched some NPFL matches and discovered some players but majority were recommended based on their performances in NPFL and also worked with few he watched during WC qualifying home and away matches between Nigeria and Cameroon.I remembered Westerhoff major issue then was Etim Esin who he tagged as very indisciplined player.

Westerhoff and Keshi relationship was like Romeo and Juliet cuz Keshi was the biggest Nigeria export and used him to get players attentions.Westerhoff discovered he was respected so much,in fact Mutiu Adepoju see it as responsibility to carry Keshi kits in camp.

Yes I quite agree with you on Osimhen and disciplinary action must be taken to avoid such incidents again in the future.

Can you not descend to the gutter of ignorance and hostility.

I have been watching Etebo from when he was in Warri Wolves, so I am not talking nonsense.

Etebo is officially 28 his career had not been plagued by injury 🤕 he has had a few but not too serious.

It doesn't explain his demise not sure what happened after he was in the Greek league.
