Sorry about this refusal, did you use MBS? Try to reapply using the conventional SOA and make sure all documents are legible. The funds this time should meet the required funds.
If conventional SOA means getting a paper document then scan and upload them that's exactly what I used for the first application
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JMG12: 2:38pm On Jun 18
Okay, reviewing your CL, you need to give more details about the application. Work on your home ties and finances. I will advise you to order your GCMS note to determine the precise reasons for the refusal, you can defer your admission to the next available term there is no need for the rush.
Oreoluwa18:

Please guys I need suggestions on how to go about the reapplication so as to meet up with my resumption date by September 2024

Documents I submitted;
Sop
PAL
Employment letter
Pay slips
Approval of study leave letter
POF of 32k CAD
Sponsorship letter
Sponsors payslips
Sponsors tax letter
Payment of tuition deposit and first semester school fees (total of 12k)

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JMG12: 2:43pm On Jun 18
Yes that is what I meant, was the document legible? Something must have happened to the documents you submitted. In this case, you can reapply and make sure all your documents are legible. Do a confirmation before uploading them.

From what I have learnt in the past years, provide only necessary and relevant information in your application. Disclosing your brother is currently studying in Canada has no bearing on your application.

With regards to lumpsum, hopefully, someone in the house can clarify.

If you are employed, you can provide your employment details and bank statements in addition to your dad's info.

The Lord is good.

Hello Gurus!

Please how long does it take for PPR to land after Medical is shown passed, especially for an upfront medical applicant who submitted medical report with the SP application.

Thanks

Please I m planning to apply for studies in a Canadian university..I don’t have any travel experience yet but I want to travel to canada using a student visa. Please can anyone guide me on the steps to follow so I can be able to achieve this. I ve started doing research on some schools and their criteria for international students. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated🙏🏽

My email address is: Oyinkansola1022@gmail.com

God bless you as I await your response

You do not need travel experience to apply for SP.
Firstly, check decide the course you want to study and look for schools that offer that course and the tuition payable by international students for that course.
Work on raising your POF so that you would have sorted it out before putting in your application.
If you have 2:1 grade from your 1st degree, then chase admission for masters.
Whilst you are doing this, start writing your SOP.
Then follow this thread, to from what others have done and documents they have submitted.

Good morning my people,

Please I want to start my Canada PR process, does it really take up to a year or even more ? Should I just try student route instead ?

Based on the current trend what would be your advice ?

P.S: I am an IT professional with years of experience.

Thank you

Since you are into STEM, write English language test and enter the pool. (You can stimulate what your CRS will be and compare it with CRS cutoff that was used for the last STEM invitation) if your CRS score is high enough you might get called under the STEM class.

Hi madam,

Although I have data analytics skills, do you know if Business Analysis is one of the in demand jobs? If the answer is no, is it possible to get job as a data analyst even if I get a PGD in Business Analysis and get the PGWP?
Tcrown2020:

This is a serious matter . One cannot just go & study any course in Canada now. One needs to ensure it's an in demand job . And the 1year PGWP 😗😙😚

I will advise you use downloaded soft copy from your internet banking.....those printed hard-copy-scanned docs takes up space...if you compress it further.might become blurred

Also attached a Reference Letter from your Bank

Hello everyone, Can anyone help with Fed Poly Ede contact for a transcript for WES assessment?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by bullstriker: 1:13am On Jun 19
You shouldn’t have issues with home ties if you strategize your application. I have had clients who had studied or worked in the UK and came to Canada for studies; they had no issues with home ties. Focus on your study plan and establish the program's relevance to your vision in Nigeria.

Go for a program above your present level of education. However, suppose the intended program is the same or below your present credential. In that case, it should be an area of specialization and ensure that the program's purpose is well articulated on your SoP to avoid the issue of redundancy. Business ownership, family members (parents and siblings), job opportunities, and proof of membership in clubs and organizations are also ties. Having said that, how long you have been in the UK and the duration of your status is vital if you are applying from a country where you have temporary status. For example, applying to Canada a few months after entering the UK or expiring status is a red flag. But you can address all these in your SOP.

You can't predict IRCC @ the moment..
Express entry draws are now more focused on domestic candidates for PR..in 🇨🇦 canada candidates, including CEC and CRS scores are very high @ 522 for last CEC.. and draws included those nominated through PNP- EE draws..Since canada planned to reduce temporary resident in canada by 5 % and to cap temporary resident arrivals by september 2024 ..discussed in province and territories meeting with canada immigration minister on 10th may 2024.
The EE draws to include international candidates is uncertain at the moment!l last express entry draws was 24th April 2024.

Hello House,

I need your honest advice. I lost my job around January this year and I'm currently not earning from any company except side work with payment by hand. What can you recommend? I have applied to a school in Canada for my MSc, my potential supervisor will be my full sponsor. Also, my uncle, now a citizen of America is ready to provide his bank statements. What documents should I gather for to make my application favorable considering my employment status?

The answer to your first question lies in how you present your application.

Having funding does not mean that VO will not refuse your application for insufficient funds, as this funding, though available, is usually accessible when you meet specific requirements. Don’t assume you have met the financial requirement just by submitting funding letters from your school. You need to demonstrate a source of income or sponsor should you become ineligible for funding. In your case, your uncle can be your sponsor. In your submission to IRCC, ensure you mention precisely what the funding covers, how much will be provided per period and when it will be disbursed.

Suppose you don’t have additional funds or a sponsor. In that case, I recommend you request a support letter from your Head of Department, or supervisor addressed to IRCC stating that they GUARANTEE MAXIMUM FINANCIAL SUPPORT for tuition and living expenses and that you are a highly deserving student.

Other documents for the financial aspect of the application should focus on the relationship with your sponsor, prior support and the incentive for sponsoring you.

Please I need answers

I did my Biometrics on the 14th of May 2024 and I wasn’t given any slip.
My agent is saying another client went on the 24th of same month and was given a slip.
Please do they still give slips after biometrics?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by EbenMayor(m): 7:40pm On Jun 19
The don't give any slip. What you get is the second copy of your international passport with IRCC stamp on it
