Appeal Court reserves Judgment in Rt. Hon. Martin Amaewhule 26 ors Vs Oko Jumbo & ors Let me repeat it. The local govt chairmen are gone! Even if the courts reinstate the 27 lawmakers, there was NO LAW allowing extension of their tenures as at 18th of June. Their lawyer should be able to explain to them. The police legal team should also advise the IGP about status quo and what it really means. Enough of all this impunity! 6 Likes 2 Shares |

any judgement between Fubara and the former lawmakers is completely irrelevant because the house if assembly members that the governor recognizes are the people he will work with, we may end up having two houses of assembly in rivers state, The rivers State House of assembly and the supreme Court House of assembly, while the former will be making laws for the state, the later will be making laws for themselves, Fubara will never work with those fools again, and for those that are dreaming about state of emergency, the ijaws will rather die than see Fubara being removed as governor. 7 Likes 2 Shares |

Martin Amaewhule 26 orthers, all decisions by the minority faction of 3 becomes Nulity including all nominees they have approved for the curious young boy called fubara, Now the Rt. Hon. Martin Amaewhule 26 ors will now extend the duration of the LG chairmen and sack the jokers fubara appointed yesterday ...Yawn 5 Likes |

BERNIMOORE: Story for the Gods! Justice Kio ruled the tenure elongation law UNCONSTITUTIONAL! Those LG chairmen are gone! That's one structure down. Even if the 27 lawmakers come back and cancel out the appointment of the CTC, the best they can do is push for the governor to conduct LG elections but as per elongating the tenure of these chairmen.. impossible!! 2 Likes 1 Share |

oyichi:it doesnt work that way, before the state high court make that ruling, There was a law passed by the Rt. Hon. Martin Amaewhule 26 ors which Nulifies the Gov fubara from Appointing the caretaker commitee, if Rt. Hon. Martin Amaewhule 26 ors a reistated by the appeal court which is higher than the state high court and the appeal recognises the validity of their Laws, they just need an interlocutory injuction from another Appeal court to first restrict the CTC and then the Rt. Hon. Martin Amaewhule 26 ors will extend the LG tenure ...simple 3 Likes |

BERNIMOORE: God bless you, my brother. It shows that you really understand the law. If Amaewhule's assembly is confirmed, it will be over for Sim. The CTC guys as well as all the commissioners will be out. These ones parading themselves as lawmakers will be suspended again! Mind you, they were already suspended by Amaewhule even before the issue of defection came up. The matter never even start. I am not bothered about the LG Chairmen. Na Assembly I focus on. 2 Likes |

His aim is to remove WIKES men fro office which he has done. A notice has just been given for a stakeholders meeting to draw timeliness for LG elections.. now let me ask you... if the 27 lawmakers come back and sack the new caretakertaker council ... who takes over the local govts in the interim? 😂 Una think say una smart.. 😂.. the game was to GET WIKES MEN OUT!!! |

ZIAZI: Justice kio has ruled it UNCONSTITUTIONAL. Take it to appeal then supreme court, its still unconstitutional. Those Chairmen are gone paving way for the governor to install his men. That's the game. As it is , the 27 lawmakers can't bring them back. So what's the way forward?? 😂 2 Likes 1 Share |
