Would you still stick to tiki taka when your last major trophy 🏆 was euro 2012

And you’ve been humiliated for almost 14 years straight and you’ll stick to your old guns and not adapt to the times

You’ll end up as another finidi if you’re a coach just barely 3 match them don sack you

Nothing like sticking to Tiki Taka. Guardiola and Enrique play different things. Just like Guardiola and Tito played different things.

What matters is the identity of dominating possession.

Fuente needs to fix that midfield.

Complete but I don’t think he was good with his head like cr7

Only a mad man would no long term plan would pick R9 over CR7

It seems highlights and kids these days forgot R9 was injury prone asf

Just found this on Twitter. I think he hammered the point well and also proposed a solution which I find interesting and I hope to see the approach in the next round.

Tell me why should we give a flying F$$k about someone who’s not relevant in any standard shape or form

Why don’t you just carry the team to that guy on twitter let him manage the national team

Since you want to push an agenda

Guardiola and Areta play heavy possession game. When Arsenal meets Manchester City most times, they sit back and allow Manchester City dominate possession. Does that mean Areta is not a heavy possessive coach?

Croatia dominating possession means the Croatian coach set them up better. It does not mean Spain no more plays heavy possession football.

Finito.
grin
"Maybe in other times, having more of the ball guaranteed better results," he said. "Now, we are a team that can surprise opponents like we did today. We are satisfied; I think we did well. We used the ball with a lot of sense and were clinical in the final third. It shows that you don't have to have so much of the ball if you're a team like us, with pace." — De La Fuente

If na by heavy possession, Croatia would have carried a W

I have to repeat myself over and over and over again.

I have said it is a process, never said it was a magic wand to win games. Guardiola did not win his first season which Manchester City and lost 4-0 to Leicester City. Look at us today.

It is not by one game.

Finito.

That was my first point. Not too thrilled with Fuente's approach because I felt with more choice selection, he can have a more controlling side. That is why I am interested to see Mikel Merino start and play the next game.
grin
"Playing style has to do with player selection"

Fuente used almost 50 players before settling saw tikitaka won't work without Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets. But you are there ululating that SE should play tikitaka.

When we point out possession football does not mean tikitaka and tikitaka isn't everything, you don see am now.

Croatia that dominated Spain didn't tikitaka. Spain that dominated Italy didn't tikitaka.

I don't know where you people get all these ideas. There is a reason why I have hammered heavy possession football.

Most of you guys never supported Spain.

You don't know what you are talking. Spain is one of the best passing teams in this competition. How the hell is that direct?

Explain to use when tidy build up play from the back became direct.

It is not by arguing.

I know you almost close to tears when you go "it's not by this or that" 🤣

Spain was out passed by Croatia. Spain used speedy counterattacks not pass abouts

Learn what. That is a response to one game. I have explained, that was just a cover. Spain know they can't go long being dominated in the midfield. It is not their way.
