Hushpuppy jr gettat abeg. So all your secondary school friends just decided to collectively mock you because you started a clothing business? How does that even make sense? Meanwhile I googled this so-called award winning clothing brand, all I found related to BTSO is a Korean perfume brand. Nothing about clothing o. Don't go and lay low, be disturbing the social media with yeye perspire to aspire stories. Invictus and hushpuppy says hi.

So what do you do with them when they draw near after you achieve success?

Life has a natural elimination processes sir, the older we grow the lesser friends we have and that often times is a natural phenomenon. Not everyone will draw near even when you think you've achieved success, some would even be successful than you are for sure. Remember that their criticism help got you to where you are so the few that might come closer still need your hands of fellowship. Everything is not about money, some might need your mentorship in a particular area of their life.

Smh. My secondary school mates came through for me when I had an accident.
Infact, I'm more closer to them than the snakes I went to uni with.

Most of my closest friends are from my secondary school days and my set's WhatsApp group, very active and have get togethers regularly, attending each other's events irrespective of locations in the world, if convenient.

This guy may be right and I also believe he is wrong. Blocking all Ur Secondary School friends all in the name of mocking you makes you a weak man. Secondly, blocking your friends because you have/had a dream means you still limit those that will share those dreams with u. Thirdly, blocking those people in your life just because you felt so superior means they also blocked you too because if you block them, you don't only block them but you also block yourself indirectly. It's like pointing a finger at someone else, 2 to 3 from the remaining fingers of yours would be pointing back towards you brah.

Chickenandchips:
An abroad-based Nigerian man sheds light on his decision to block all his secondary school friends on social media.

The entrepreneur, Identified as Austin Uche Okolo, recounted why he had to block all his secondary school friends on social media after one of his current friends asked him if he still kept in touch with anyone from that time.

Recalling the reason behind his action, Okolo revealed that when he launched his first venture at 18, a clothing brand named ‘Born To Stand Out,’ many of his peers ridiculed him on social media.

Despite his brand’s subsequent success and global recognition, the hurtful remarks from his past remained vivid. Rather than seeking revenge, he chose to distance himself from negativity by blocking those individuals.

Okolo encouraged others to do the same and focus on pursuing their aspirations in a world filled with insecurities.

According to him, one’s dreams and aspirations are incredibly personal and fragile, especially when one starts to chase them which is why it is vital to protect and comfort them like a newborn baby.

Bros, your reasons for doing that is not very impressive, there is nothing wrong with reaching out to ur old friends. They couldn't stop you while you all were together. Hw could they now. Remembered they too are hustling to survive. You are not responsible for their lives. Blocking them is extremely, better you ignore them than total cut out. E get why

Rubbish, all you classmates cant be the same at the same time, you just dont want them near you simple. dont worry you will soon meet some of them later, they all cant be failures.

Don't know why you choose that but your choice, I had fun been around my classmates from. All levels, I don't hold no grudges neither do I hawk it around, because I am not perfect as well, things were said, things were done, if you can hold such negativity for long, bro you are hurting three letter words Y O U and guess what, ain't nobody else gives a damn.

I keep in touch with my friends, the world is a small place, still, my respect to your hustle.

This is foolishness in the highest order on his part because nobody knows tomorrow. I attended our secondary school old student reunion party and it was a blast. After 22 years of leaving secondary school, i saw my classmates again we all drank eat together and dance and reminise on past time. It was really fun and all of us don old finish. Lol
