Congratulations to ndi enugu and igbos at large
So this means they're going to demolish the site where holy ghost is located?
Or is the other site linked with a bridge the place where peace park is located?

Did they relocate them somewhere else

No. Anyway, the property is owned by Sam Maduka Onyishi. So, I think the bank will look for another property to rent.

Why didn't the govt flag off the modern bus terminals yesterday ??

Banks typically don't own properties except in highbrow areas where rent increases fastly with time.

They go for long term lease like 20-30 years instead.

I am not too sure but rumours had it that a DSS report necessitated the postponement.

I think some traders were organising a protest and there were fears it could be highjacked by political enemies.

I read somewhere that Mba is planning to build a new modern market in Nsukka undecided

I hope they make a cutting edge design for the 21st century or at least, the kind of New Ariara International Market being constructed at Aba.

Yae. The hospital itself. The school was already started by ugwuanyi but the quality of work there was very poor

You were not specific. For context, in the last one year, the following has been achieved:

Ongoing Construction of over 100 smart schools.
Ongoing Construction of 35 Smart school.
Water reticulation in Enugu City.
Reconstruction of 71 roads in Enugu city.
Development of a new Enugu City.
Ongoing Construction of Holy Ghost, Gariki, Abakpa and Nsukka Terminals.
Employment of over 100 doctors.

And many others in their planning stages. What else do you want?

I gave you the benefit of the doubt until I arrived in Enugu 3 weeks ago. This administration has been a disgrace so far. The roads in Enugu are an eyesore and there is no sign of visible progress on the water supply, only stories and contrary to your claim and that of Governor Peter Mba's obviously paid media representatives.

We are obviously wrong again in Enugu, no doubt, considering that the word on the street is that this election was also stolen.

Have you been to Kenyatta street lately?. What is governor Mbah really doing with the increased IGR and statutory federal allocation?.

Well, the only progress so far is that the state government has acquired a land between Nru and Eha Alumina for the land.

I will provide more update when I get them

Which of the roads are eyesore?

If you say this in Idaw River, Abakpa New Heaven, etc; you will likely get beaten.

Sorry to disappoint but I don't think the design will be cutting edge... Another bricks and rectangle common design I guess.

Get beaten for what? Is this your way of convincing the reading public that the administration of Peter Mba is popular?
Someone pointed out a certain deterioration of basic amenities in his city and your best comeback is to try to shut him up with threat of attack by some illusory mobs?
Obviously, you and other agents of the failing administration here are discussing nothing but your fantasies. A year is now gone, yet you guys are still celebrating the demolition of businesses as the only achievement of the administration.
At the end, 6 people out of 10 in Enugu remain in abject poverty, 90% of roads in Enugu remain dusty, dirt paths, and Enugu people continue to pay through noses to get water and private school education, because public schools are dead and the government of the day has failed in its loud promise to provide water.

The meaning of my response is that these areas I mentioned have gotten a facelift and the people there are happy

Hmmmmm
Ugwuanyi had already started mediocre project with his one storey blocks of flat like buildings with red roof, l don't think Mba will do any better.

They need to go to North and see how public buildings are designed , our governors are too local for my liking only Sullivan stood out.

Can you imagine Ugwuanyi renovating house of assembly complex with visible roof ? If okpara could come up with world class design 60 years ago, why should ugwuanyi take us back in 21st century.
He also roofed the international conference center with a visible roof made of red faded roofing sheets, I don't know if that style of roofing was the original plan but I doubt

One year has gone but the governor that promised to construct 10,000 kilometers of roads in 8 years has not done up to 100 kilometers.

I have never seen any government that took enugu people for granted like this man, made bogus promises but don't even care to fulfill half of them.

No major road project is going on in the entire state just few street roads that he always reduce Thier width.

Mba might end up as a failure

The road from ugwuogo park through ugbene 1 to timber market is abandoned.

The amuri road from nowas stopped in front of MTN office and from there to Texaco junction seems to be abandoned.

After sand filling obinagu road , it was left like that for almost two months now

These are short short roads the longest is ugwuogo ugbene that is not more than 2.5 km
Nowas is about 1.5 km , obinagu is about 800 meters, roads that ordinary shouldn't take More than 3 months to complete.

Honestly Ugwuanyi is more serious when it comes to project execution, Mba seems to be sleeping on the job.

I waited for others to respond to you. My reasoning was that I did not want to appear to have a personal problem with you or the government you work for. But clearly you are the new Louis Amoke. You are certainly picking up where he left off, assuming you are not him personally.

Look, Enugu is dirty, the roads are in terrible condition, and please don't mention a few streets where substandard and half-hearted renovation have being carried out. Job creation is also a pipe dream for Governor Mba. Enugu youths and graduates are now officially learning fraud “yahoo” as the new apprenticeship system because there are no jobs or opportunities created by their government.

Even the water this governor promised to deliver in the first 6 months of his administration, which is the minimum Enugu people should expect from his government, is obviously a deception for votes from all indications.

So, let me ask you again, sir, where is your principal spending the increased IGR and the federal allocation he collects on our behalf?.
