[quote author=doggedfighter post=130598657]I hope it's not MC oluomo that ordered the Governor to declare those garages illegal and have those vehicles of the poor drivers seized. Touts wield so much power in this government. And all Sanwo Olu knows is taking orders from Tinubu, his children and cronies. Anyway they will settle and go back |

Tjra: Where are the “approved bus stops” on those routes? How many “approved bus stops” can the danfo drivers stop to pick and drop their passengers? We know that danfo drivers are very unruly and overbearing. Government must do its best to build bus stops with fast and easy access to the citizens. Get to the roads and you find the so called approved bus stops long distances between each other. Government buses comply, as they know that those are the bus stops only that they must stop. Again it calls to mind the administration of Ambode in Lagos. There was already a decision to phase out danfo buses and introduce these same buses presently used by the state government. Infact the union had been given a deadline to form groups to purchase the buses, using their danfos as seed capital. Those ones died with the removal of Ambode. In the end, danfo drivers will continue to be lawless, as they are given the free hand to operate. They are the same people used by politicians to rig elections. |

Elidrisy20:Funny u,ain't this part of letting the masses breath? Are the state govt the ones losing there phones and goods in the unnecessary traffic caused by those illegal garages? Oh! U thought govt just jumped in to perform this? No bro, people from those areas reported the illegal garages to the govt an area out of them even did a protest at alausa! Be informed dont just blame govt all the time. Even other people from diff areas in lagos plying those routes do report them on lagos traffic radio! 1 Like |

Abed, lag state gov should move on Lagos abeokuta Expressway axis. Ikeja along to be precise. What is the point of building a multi billion naira bridge if the traffic on completion gets worse? The point of the bridge was to easy vehicular movement in the first place. Trust our people, the entry and exit point of the bridge has been turned into bus stops thereby making traffic worse than before. |
