Realme45: The VO suspect the SOA is fake, I do not think he/she went further to appraise the funds in the account after doubting the veracity of the SOA. If the statement is genuine, please get a reference letter, send an MBS and reapply. |

Abimbola222: • Two photocopy of your passport Datapage. • Your international passport. • Biometrics Collection Letter. • Application Submittion Confirmation letter. • Your VFS appointment letter. I think that all. |

Hello guys, Please I have a challenge. I have my student visa approved already to start a Post Graduate Diploma in September. However I just got another admission for Masters and I prepare the Masters program. I hear that I will have to reapply again for another visa because I want to change school since I am outside of Canada. Please I need advise of how to go about it. Does it mean I have to start the visa process afresh again when I already have a visa that has been approved. Please need advise |

slutky: I would advice you make entry into Canada with the approval college and you switch ones you arrive into Canada which come with at least a semester. But if you know you can go through the visa huddle again use your master admission for sowp advantage. 1 Like |

This is an excellent case to request a reconsideration, as it appears the officer did not verify the statement. You can provide Mybankststatement, a copy of the old one submitted with the previous application, and an explanation highlighting the officer’s reasons for refusing your application. You can reapply if you do not intend to request a reconsideration. Realme45: |

Someone got his visa late last year and deferred his start date to this September. His Letter of Introduction is valid till next year but medical date in the Letter of Introduction expired last December. He did another medical 3 months ago and uploaded through webform but IRCC has not yet reissued another letter of introduction to reflect the new valid medical. He is traveling in the next 3 weeks. Can he show his upfront medical slip at the border since IRCC didn't issue him a fresh Letter of Introduction? Will that be enough? Any idea how things work in this situation? 1 Like |

slutky:[quote author=slutky post=130601368]Hello guys, Since Visa has been issued based on college admission, you will have to reapply for another Visa if you want to switch to the masters degree program. That’s the Rule. I will advise you proceed to Canada with the Visa you have now and complete your study at the college (defer your masters admission to next year and then reapply for visa after completing college study) because there is no guarantee that you will get another Visa should you reapply now using your masters admission. Greetings! I Submitted reapplication on the 29th of May, I was given a new uci number, my medical has been updated to paased, many people said I should not bother sending webform, while others said I should send webform. I sent webform and also call IRCC on the 20th of June, my question are; 1. Will I be inform that my UCI number as been link 2 There is no biometric information in this my new application, Should it be updated? 3. Is it possible that they are working on my application without biometric update and with a different UCI number Thanks |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by bullstriker: 8:41pm On Jun 22 |
Using ‘URGENT” on the first line, resend the webform and email IRCC. You must travel with a copy of the medical if you have not received an updated Letter of Intro. I recommend a copy of the medical sent to you about 10 days after the medical , not the one you received on the day of the medical. Kenn55: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by bullstriker: 8:42pm On Jun 22 |
1. IRCC may not inform you, but it will reflect in your portal if they decide to reassign the first UCI 2. It should. They will update it. 3. They can, but biometrics is required for security and admissibility checks. Agbanilagbatan: 1 Like |

bullstriker: Thanks. Are you saying he can go back to the hospital and get a copy of the medical? If I'm not mistaken,he was given the normal slip on the day of medical when he did it months ago. As per webform, do you mean upload the upfront medical again? |

"While the IRCC has the authority to contact banks to verify financial information, they do not routinely call banks to check an applicant’s available funds without a valid reason and proper authorization. Instead, they rely on official documents provided by the applicant during the application process". Once I've printed my bank statement, I should refrain from making any withdrawals from my account until I receive the confirmation of my student permit? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by bullstriker: 4:21am On Jun 23 |
You can call or ask them to email it to you. Using “URGENT” on the first line can make their analyst prioritize your request if they deem it urgent. Yes, reupload it with an explanation. Kenn55: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by bullstriker: 4:25am On Jun 23 |
The statement in quotation marks is correct. You can use the funds in the account after printing the bank statement, as the bank can only confirm the transactions and balance up to the time you printed the statement. However, it is worth noting that IRCC can request an updated bank statement from you, the applicant if the visa officer suspects you borrowed the funds and have returned it, although it rarely happens. Agbanilagbatan:Your application won't go further without biometrics .. Send webform to IRCC with your new UCI Number and application Number, Name on application.. Details: You have been assigned a New UCI Number, quote previous UCI Number, Request to update your biometrics information on portal and if you changed Name including the information. Attach your previous (BVL)Biometrics validity letter, if name change previous and current passport data page merged with BVL. Note : UCI number can change even without making a change of name in previous applications. And you can't retain the old UCI Number, you have been assigned a New UCI which can be merged with old UCI Number. |

Can I have the appropriate email address of ircc Thanks as always Predator188: |

bullstriker:Hey bro, I used MBS for my bank statement. Is there a way for me to know if IRCC have downloaded the statement on their end? Also is it wise to submit an updated MBS since it's been almost a month since I submitted my application. Thanks in advance. |
