Some people just like dragging issue. What we want to know is, has it been proven that Finidi made such statement?

And let me clarify that most people condemning Osimhen are actually concerned about his brand and status rather than whatever issue he had with Finidi.

A whole king of Naples and African footballer of the year talking like agbero online. Especially when you factor in the fact that he is in transfer speculations and the way clubs frown on indiscipline.
Finito my Bro. Everything falls or stands with your first paragraph. That's my own perspective. But others don't care. Finidi sha must be guilty whether he made the statement or not.

Osimhen really fell my hand with that his video. I had always been one of his Grass to Grace disciples. Has was a very strong brand Ambassador for kids playing street football in the ghettos. It was obvious the Streets never left him.

If only he had calmed down to buttress his points, all fingers could have been pointing towards Finidi today.

Finidi was never Super Eagles Class. With this I don't think we can trust any other local coach going forward. 2026 WC was going to be the last for most of this generation, who are already in their late 20s but our chances are now hanging by the thread.

All those owngoal, soccernet etc are the HQ of fake news when it comes to football. Everytime anonymous sources, anonymous sources. It's all lies. They craft news from rumors and turn it into facts.

His response was wrong, agreed! The subsequent reactions were all manner of wrong too.

Why should he be the one to call Finidi?
Finidi should have come out to clarify/call Osimhen himself if he actually respect the APOTY.
Osimhen could vividly observe the lack of respect for him even from Finidi's response during the phone call bouhaha!

I read between the lines!
You won't understand cos you don't come from his background!

Bad behaviour is bad behaviour.

Irrespective of a person's background is absolutely no excuse for bad behaviour.

And people geh mind dey talk nonsense on Osimhen during AFCON. Ronaldo missed one 1-v-1 chance 🆚 Czech Republic the other day and has not scored in two games now. Even the entire France never score one goal for this tournament.

We too like play for this country 😂

You are comparing VO to Ronaldo someone who has done it for nation and club consistently for two decades.

Don't you think 🤔 you are misguided.

What's wrong with that having respect and consideration for others whether they are older or younger and more so if they are OLDER.

I suppose we could say that's unique to African elders. No problem with being unique.

And you need to stop this nonsense of condescending to others with the 'y’all haven’t lived outside the shores of Nigeria'. No be you go first go abroad. people don dey go abroad since 18 kokoro. Nigerians/Africans have communities that manifest in churches e.t.c. In these communities, these cultural values are in place, perhaps to a lesser degree.

Asians:Japanese, Chinese, Indians, e,t,c- have their cultural quirks too, sometimes similar in purpose to ours.

If you are frustrated that we are low on initiativeness as far infrastructural development e.t.c, fine. You are not alone in that feeling. However we need not pull down our structure of values for it. Others have prospered flourished economically and still hold those values dearly.

Of course!
However, Finidi had 3 good days to make a public statement denying such allegation but he did not.
You can't tell the person subjected to both online and offline trolls from Finidi's action/inaction how to respond to such garrulous allegations.
He owns no one that right. QED!

You forgot different news headlines before Finidi was appointed? News that Finidi was screened out. Even that National orientation Agency congratulated Amuneke..lol..NFF already said Foreign coach will be employed in coming WEEKS, before Afcon qualifying match..

20 years from now European countries like Spain, France, England, Germany and Belgium will have just one or two native white players. The rest of the team will be full of black people or mixed. Not good. Every nation should be represented by their own people abeg. I used to like the French team but not anymore. A black man is not an English man or a French man. Unnatural, very unnatural.

Haaland and Watkins technical? But Osimhen is not? Okay sir!! lol!
Brainwashed Africans! Is Watkins better than Moffi?
yinkeys:

EPL yes
UCL grin
Osimhen isn’t a technically complete striker

I could compare Mbappe to R9 but when I saw Mbappe miss a 1 on 1 a few days ago against Austria
There’s no way Mbappe compares to R9

Osimhen isn’t the perfect striker, he plays with heart
Not as technical as Kane, Haaland, Watkins
Although it appears he uses his head better than all of them

He’d score a lot at Arsenal because of the way that team plays but UCL is supreme level

I really hope he goes to Arsenal though grin
Kanu Nwankwo fans grin

so far they continue to prioritize efficiency in Europe it will continue to be dominated by black people. They believe in having the best represent them in competitions so the squad composition is only natural. It will continue to happen unless the xenophobic elements in the European countries gain in rank In those countries and I perceive it won't take that much longer again considering posts of Twitter about the lack of whites in their teams and the massive engagement such posts generate.

Some want those who haven't been opportuned to live abroad to believe that the Americans and Europeans don't have regards and respect for elders,

But I strongly believed that showing respect to elders is a universal value that transcends cultural boundaries, recognizing the importance of their life experience, wisdom, and contributions to society.

We should be more concern about small teams disrespecting big teams in this #EURO2024

Oops! I no even talk finish, Switzerland (small team) don score Germany (big boys) for their own backyard grin

Why? Why? Why? Haba, this is painfully unbearable. You keep repeating this same sentiment as if to say Finidi disrespected the players therefore it is justified for Osimhen to disrespect him yet none of you can show where Finidi mentioned Osimhen.

We have cried it loud that it was newspapers that broadcasted that falsehood, yet you keep hammering on it as if is true.

Okay, let's even take the other side that says Finidi said it in confidence and assume it is true. Isn't that a measure of respect that he said it not publicly but in private?
This Osimhen issue is so clear yet it baffles me how we muddy the facts.

Sir I used it as an illustration, I don't meant he disrespected them,
besides what the media and Colin said, was he didn't pointed a player, his word were, " He can't beg anyone to play for SE "

those words alone can be constructed to meant many things

All same peace sir, and happy Sunday

Of course, the way Osimhen handled the issue was improper, however exonerating Finidi is what I do not understand.

If one listens to that IG rant without sentiment you could see where Osimhen is coming from. I understand Osimhen cos I worked with his type for years.
Grew up in the ghetto, no mentor, no parents etc.

He called Finidi in the presence of his personal Doctor. Finidi even asked him to give the phone to the Doctor to see the screen himself. Osimhen was extremely respectful and was calling him coach throughout that phone conversation.

Then Osimhen made a very interesting request "can I come to support the boys"?.
Finidi's response to that simple question says a lot about him! Disrespecting the team Superstar is a no for me, no matter who you are. Lewa, Neymar etc were allowed into the camp. Why deny the APOTY such respect.

Then the leak from the 3 hours convo with NFF came out.
Osimhen waited 3 days for Finidi/NFF to clarify/deny that info while suffering serious attack from online trolls.

This is a guy going through one of the moment that will determine his destiny. Do you know the amount of damage bad PR would do to his career at this critical moment. Bad PR left and right cos of what? For giving his all for his country? For loving his people? For running himself to death for you guys?
What do you people really want from him?
You don't even hold your miserable politicians accountable this much!

Let the boy breath and if you doubt his commitment to the Nigerian cause all what he said will happen to you! Simple!
I won't go further than that!
I cut cap for you. No hypes. This is what we call balance. No smoke without fire.

100%

Even when it comes to women we think Nigerian women are the most submissive.

Well two of my friends are married two Iranian women born in the UK and professional women.

The consider marriage not as a partnership but leadership by men for which they are to support there Man ( husband)
