Re: The Beroeans: What Can We Learn From Them? by MaxInDHouse(m): 4:28am On Jun 24 |
There is a reason why the Beroeans went back to do a diligent study on what they heard from the disciples of Christ in the scriptures, all God's servants must have the same line of thought regarding sacred service this will help them to worship in spirit and truth {John 4:24} as if they're just one big family! John 17:22 compare to Zephaniah 3:9 So when the disciples of Christ preached to the Beroeans they need to figure out whether Christianity (movement of Jesus' disciples) is the religion that's of the new covenant God promised according to the scriptures! Jeremiah 31:31-33 compare to Deuteronomy 18:18 This is important because whoever missed the message of the prophet God is sending in the manner of Moses will lose out completely! Deuteronomy 18:19 Jesus Christ confirmed this when he prayed to his father to unite all the servants of God throughout history in the same line of thought {John 17:20-23} even though some have slept in death thousands of years back once they're resurrected it will be easy for their fellow worshipers who knew all the updates to help such ones and the whole earth will be filled with a peace loving global family {Isaiah 2:2-4; Micah 4:1-3} there will be a lot of richly blessings as God's people inhabiting the earth at that time will all know our God with the same line of thought then no one will need to teach his or her neighbour again about true righteousness! Jeremiah 31:34 So by that time when God declares everlasting life upon all the inhabitants of planet earth {Psalms 37:29 compare to Matthew 5:5} whoever falls sick or dies will be due to sin only and not natural death! Isaiah 65:20; 33:24 |

NairaLTQ:Another enlightenment you need there! The word GOD wasn't written like that in the original Hebrew manuscript. Jesus wasn't written like that in the original Hebrew manuscript. So why do you single out Jehovah when all other names has been transliterated? |

NairaLTQ: Go and read publications in Hebrew or French, it is YHWH you will see there not Jehovah The GB are not opposed to any part of the scriptures. We're well educated about God, Jesus, the Kingdom which was Jesus main message when he was here on earth. Your so called pastors are the ones that Paul is saying they are accursed with their fake miracles and prosperity message Like the disciples of the first century, all of us are actively preaching the Gospel of the kingdom as Jesus foretold would happen in the last days So rest |

Aemmyjah: At times i just laugh at their presumptuousness imagine a misinformed churchgoer wanting to use illustrations! He called someone a TODDLER which literally means myopic and childish, when i asked him how he came to that conclusion he said it's due to the attitude of one he labelled but at the same time he added another label WOLF which means predator in literal sense and both labels is due to the attitude of the same person! Please what correlation is between a MYOPIC one and a PREDATOR? 1 Like 1 Share |
Re: The Beroeans: What Can We Learn From Them? by MaxInDHouse(m): 7:18am On Jun 24 |
Aemmyjah: That question will expose him as a rebellious human, David said: "JEHOVAH is my shepherd" Psalms 23:1 Jesus called his disciples "sheep" John 10:11 If he knows the use of ILLUSTRATION what is the attitude of SHEEP? Are they not the domestic animals we know that often follow their master with one accord? Is it not GOATS that has the trait of rebellion as each walks due to it's own initiative? So if he say "NO" that would mean he is not one of Jesus' sheep and if he say "YES" that means he is stupid for accusing those having the quality he supposed to have. |

Re: The Beroeans: What Can We Learn From Them? by MaxInDHouse(m): 7:40am On Jun 24 |
Aemmyjah: When iron meet iron one will surely bend! He can pretend he knows what he's saying in the presence of atheists and Muslims but when he comes near a true disciple of Christ he will see his own emptiness. I have adviced him several times to focus on the qualities a true religion should have but it's like he doesn't want it what matters to him is arguing to gratify himself so i left him. Now he wants to engage me thinking it's about accusing the source of my understanding (JW organization) that he will use for his self gratification. I remain humble under the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses but he's not my match when talking about scriptural understanding any day any time! 2 Likes 1 Share |

MaxInDHouse: Don't mind him Even the Jews of old or the Christians did not show independent thinking The brothers in Galatia shower independent thinking and Paul wrote to them calling them 'O foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you that you did not obey the truth...' Imagin me what these people would have said if the GB should write same letter to the brothers in Nigeria |

Re: The Beroeans: What Can We Learn From Them? by MaxInDHouse(m): 11:48am On Jun 24 |
Aemmyjah: Paul has every right to call them FOOLISH because he himself formed that church after preaching and teaching from house to house to gather them. So if they're now having divers thoughts he should question their sanity! |

Aemmyjah:Slaves of some old men feigning to know Christ but who can do nothing other than enslaved them. Take heed that no one Deceive YOU. But Sons Of perdition will entrust their souls in the hands of wicked impostors who assume to be Apostles of Christ whereas, Christ doesn't know them. The covenant name of God is YHWH and you make it Jehovah even when the scripture is there for you to see in black and white. Stupidly you ask me to read the JW publications in Hebrew or French: sorry, you are LOST . Go find Jesus! 3 Likes |

Today many just swallow whatever they hear hook, line and sinker but then they don't know how to use what they believe to make disciples so they only use it to argue fruitlessly! |
