There is no way to know when they have viewed your statement. Sending an updated bank statement will not have any impact on the outcome Chapecoense: 2 Likes |

You can't change DLI outside of Canada, you will have to apply for a study permit. You need to enter Canada and then change your DLI. slutky: |

JMG12: I got admission in conestoga but that was when I was still in Nigeria and I was scared to further ahead because I don’t want them to deny me and I will still remain in Nigeria. That’s why we came here at least even if they deny we will still be doing our thing here. I don’t know if I should continue with conestoga Abi I should search for other schools |

I feel there was another way international students used to do it in the past. You have to travel with the visa you have and then when you get over there, you can change school and go for another study permit. But with the different changes in immigration policies , I don't know how advisable that could be for now. So you can go ahead with the advise already given , go for the one you already have and defer the Masters to another session. Then apply for maybe another Study permit or study permit extension. Thank you.

|

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by bullstriker: 4:31pm On Jun 24 |
You can apply to Canada after January 5, 2025; the ban will be lifted after 5 years; no action is required. If you want to go to Canada before the 5-year ban passes, apply for an Authorization to Return to Canada (ARC). The chances of getting an ARC are slim unless it is an emergency and the need surpasses your inadmissibility. Canada can issue you a visa after the ban if you meet the requirements. The ban does not prohibit you from applying to come to the US. However, your application may be scrutinized because of credibility concerns since Canada shares a database with the US. Hello all, so my friend submitted her application on 9 May and today we received biometrics confirmation letter. (She currently has a visitor visa) Someone said the letter usually comes together with passport request letter. But she only received the biometrics letter, should we assume that the passport request would come later in the day? Can someone please confirm this? Thanks all |

Hello Thank you @130613435] Well understood. Can you please assist me with the key points to include in the study plan? Thanks. "Tell us more about what you’ll do in Canada. Include dates.” Write a summary of your study plans in Canada? I have already completed writing my Statement of Purpose (SOP). bullstriker: |

Sleeknay:Most times BVL and final decision come together. However in some cases they are hours, days or weeks apart. Just register on the IRCC tracker and check for the visa and study permit number in there to put your mind at rest. |
