What I do know about Sanusi is that he helped to reform and strengthen Nigeria's banking system as CBN governor so much so that he eliminated bank charges completely and ensured all Nigerians with ATMs could freely access forex without having to go through bureau d change operators even though they existed.

I see Sanusi as fearless and an open and active critic of corruption in Nigeria and the some backward practices in the north that is drawing the entire Nigeria back. For example, Sanusi exposed the theft of oil revenue that could have been remitted to government and used to fund worthwhile development programmes in Nigeria. Unfortunately he was removed from office as head of CBN for speaking out about it.

Sanusi as openly criticized the corrupt act of the dollar in agbada stuffing criminal that is now chairman of the ruling party while he was governor. In return the governor removed Sanusi as Emir.

Sanusi left peacefully and never resisted.

Are these the attributes of a tyrant?

I gave that suggestion based on what is feasible given Nigeria's unique situation.

There's an unwritten rule that power must rotate between the north and south of Nigeria.

If Tinubu calamitous reign ends then power will shift to the north.

That is the reality.

If power returns to the north then it'll be disastrous to have Atiku as the main contender in the north cos Nigeria will just have another Tinubu to suffer under in the form of Atiku who is a career politician with no sound academic background.

That is why I suggested Sanusi as president and soludo as vice... And then when Sanusi is done I'm sure everybody will support soludo once it's the turn of the south.

The only three viable individuals from the north who can actually work for Nigeria from my point of view is Sanusi and the current inec chairman professor yakubu and then the former Kaduna governor el rufai. But professor yakubu can't contest cos the powers that be have decided to keep him out of active politics by holing him up inside inec. Meanwhile el rufai is mostly hated in the south and seen as a tribal bigot despite his impressive public service record and academic qualification. Whether it's due to ignorance or deliberate propaganda to ensure he doesn't get into aso rock I don't know. But then I've learnt not to ever trust majority of Nigerians opinions cos Nigerians are mostly foolish in choosing leaders that's why we ended up with the likes of buhari and tinubu back to back.

So, try and understand that I'm trying to be realistic in giving that suggestion.

And also don't try to chestbeat or explain to me why soludo is superior to Sanusi or el rufai or prof yakubu. It's same chestbeating and inability to defer gratification that has prevented the south east from producing a president in Nigeria. Sometimes u just have to hide your shine and play the fool to get what you want in Nigeria.

Rub your arrogance in people's face in Nigeria and you'll be on your own.

The south west are very good at asslicking and deferring gratification. That is what has given them a path to success in Nigeria politics. It's not a mistake that 40-50% of southwest are Muslims. Same religion that is the main religion of the north but seen as a taboo religion in the south east. That is asslicking or subtle deception 101... Share something similar with someone powerful and you can easily gain their trust. The north is powerful because they have the population size and their people can easily be controlled. Underestimate the north at your own peril.
