1. First off there's substantial proof and like i said its scholarly consensus that Jesus existed and was crucified. You are free to cite renowned modern scholars who go against this grain of thought. Tacitus, Josephus, Lucian, Mara, Pliny and the Talmud are all sources used to back this claim by scholars. The gospel of Barnabas is not taken as historically reliable or used as evidence by any respected scholars as they were written at an even much later date, (about a century l8r) than the gospels which were not even valid in the 1st place and its the usual pseudepigraphy
