Tinubu presidency is based on southern/northern arrangement but so far it has only produced incompetent leaders such as Buhari and Tinubu whose presidency has taken Nigeria backward.

After the death of Yaradua, Goodluck Jonathan took over and the north was strongly against him but Jonathan's govt still has an exceptional scorecard than what we habe seen in recent times.

We should focus on competence than sentiments. Tinubu obviously has no business being in Aso rock if not for this regional turn by turn arrangement.

Northern governors who moved against Buhari's choice in the 2023 APC presidential primary was the saving grace of Tinubu if not he would have been disgraced at the primaries.

So now that the northern elites are plotting against Tinubu he wants to revive the southern governors forum to insist on 8 years tenure for north/south each. But this won't work because the south west has shown to be a very selfish region marginalising other region in the south.

Once Obi agrees to vice Atiku and the northern governors and elites turn their back on Tinubu, then that is the end of his presidency.

Buhari has every power when he was the president to stop Tinibu. He chose to honour their agreement. He knew that giving power to Atiku will cause a lot of calamity which will lead to united south. All of us know why they northerners seemed to have an upper hand is because of southwest that has half Moslem. These Moslem are sympathetic to northerners.
Obi is not an option because giving an Igbo man power, he may be pay back each tribe the atrocities meted on during the civil war. Handing over to Tinibu is necessary to keep things afloat.
