Edo state alone produces more palm oil than the entire South East... Y'all need to learn some humility.

AdaPalm is the largest in the south east, with just a palm plantation of 4,310 hectares, Okomu Oil & Presco are both located in Edo state, they're the largest producers so far. Okomu alone has 12,500 hectares of palm plantation...

Who are they supplying to?
And I hope say you know it was FG that established Okomu oil?

The people in the east don't have such establishment. I believe op is referring to individuals doing their production as seen in the video. That's where your comparison should base.

Yoruba don't like the oil from the South East. It does not taste well in our mouth. Our oil is well cooked AND SMELLS GOOD.

Same thing goes for Yoruba oil.

90% of the oil gotten from SouthWest are consumed by SouthWesterners due to its taste, but the SouthEastern oil is suitable for local dishes, particularly soups.

Fake story from Mkpurumini blodas.

South South states like Edo and Rivers are the largest producers of palm oil

You are wrong. South East produce more Palm Oil.
I know Edo and Delta very well. In Edo, only Prescott and Ukomu produce palm Oil in large quantities. You hardly see any individual producing Oil in Edo

I fact-checked him cos he linked the stable price of palm oil to the meagre production in the South East... "price of palm of is stable thanks to the south east"... Please tell me what that is if not ethnic glorification...

You guys hate correction so much and you accuse others of doing what you do yourselves.
So you are trying to say the South East Oil production isn't involved in the stable price??
If you want to hype your own state or zone, you can post too and show videos. No one is stopping you.
But let you guys stop all this useless comparison and also what is bad for a person to glorify his place of origin
You could post yours too and show videos too, their is absolutely nothing wrong

I have seen many yorubas say they own the entertainment industry, this doesn't mean we don't have other tribes in the industry but the yorubas are more influential presently in the industry especially the music industry.

You see all the people shouting hunger, dollar is to high, petrol is too cost!! They are supposed to encourage these people running this cottage industry... Govt should get access to finance and create a cluster in that area where more people can come in and produce.....by now more people need to be going into agric and agric processing, our number one problem is we are not producing enough food in this country.

Massive investment like roads ,electricity, schools and Medicare also agricultural equipments should be provided on a massive level directed to the rural areas to encourage people to come get involved in agriculture.....there are so many people wasting away in the cities.

Palm oil production is beyond what those companies produce..... In the southeast, many families produce oil in large quantities. Most of the palm oil you see in the market are not from ada palms or okumo, they are from different individuals scattered all over thousands of villages.

Now, this is a question of semantics. Nobody said Igbos didn't produce palm oil or that it has no effect, rather, he was the one making the stable price appear as a direct consequence of palm oil production in the south east.

Let's move away from Edo. In Yoruba land, there is almost no village where they don't produce palm oil, that's what they sell along the express roads in 5 liter kegs, if you travelled a lot, you'd know this.

The stable price is a general result of both small and large palm oil producers all over Southern Nigeria and nobody should be saying thanks to Tribe A or Tribe B.

Small producers are everywhere in southern Nigeria. It's also the same thing in the south-west. Almost every Yoruba village produces palm oil using their own local methods and the palm oil press... Go and verify this and you'd understand that it's a southern thing. So nobody should be saying thanks to Tribe A or Tribe B...

Some people too beat chest. There is nobody in my village that has no palm plantation of various sizes. Including yours truly. The palm plantation my late uncle set up in 1969/1970 used to have over 100 workers. Around 80 Ghanian workers had to leave during Ghana must go saga. The farm is still ongoing.

Same across the state.

The Ultra Modern Conference hall of NIFOR near Benin is where Gowon govt met to ratify Aburi Conference agreement in 1967. Ojukwu refused to attend because FG/North had tweaked the agreement in the meantime. Some don't even know that NFOR in Benin is head of all oil palm technology/biotech in 9ja.

You are a novice. Do u know that palm oil is largely produced in the South West? The Yorubas produce their own oil from Ondo, Ekiti, Osun and Oyo.
yet you mix your own with chemicals that the colour will almost turn orange...I don't buy yoruba own o, o buy from igbos

You mentioned palm plantations as basis for comparison. In the East palm trees are every where. In my small South East village in Abia, there are 5 of this mill shown above. It's like that all over my LGA. But there is no single plantation there.
