Nevermind I called them for clarification. They said it just means if you're applying for job seeker and your appointment letter is showing long term then its invalid and you should raise a refund

Hmm I don't know o. It's the normal vfs website appointment link I also used. I was even literally jumping bus as I was booking the appointment. Its all about luck I guess

I checked today and noticed slots for Long term category are available fully. My best guess is that the Job Seeker category has more applicants hence more difficult to get. I did Long term so it wasn't that difficult for me

If applying for Job seeker, your application should be like this. The only thing that can change is your preferred location.

Job seeker category is not under long stay- job seeker. It under national and sub category is job seeker

After getting appointment are we paying instantly.

No there is no payment for job seeker category , if you pick the right category ( national ) and sub category job seeker

But there's no national there, only long term-job seeker

You will make payment at VFS office , approximately 250k for lagos applicant location but the price can change depends on exchange rate

The problem is with VFS , I think they have not solve their system glitch that happened the last time or maybe it just a trick , there might be that the limited slot is sold offline
