Your response isn't an intelligent one.

If it was you they convicted you won't talk so nonchalantly about another man's ordeal as if he's just some kind of statistic. He's a human being like you and what he went through is enough for many to committ suicide.

Wickedness flows in the blood of a lot of black man. People commit a crime, implicate an innocent man, made sure he stayed in prison for a crime he didn't commit for 24 years, the police seeing a man without a criminal record that maintains his innocence refused to investigate, find the dead woman, and conduct forensic analysis to verify who killed the woman and the justice system basically sent an innocent man to jail without concrete evidence. Black man does not know GOD. White Atheists know and obey GOD better than the typical religious black man. Check those criminals, members of the police and the members of the judiciary, they either go to church or slam their heads on the ground in a mosque.

So sad story. But it shouod not end there. What about compensation by the authority. Its their right to get compensation to the tune of hundreds of millions for wrongful imprisonment. Thats how it is done in other countries

Nigeria judiciary system is gone.

Bro, we never had one. Acts of injustice like this make nothing to work in Nigeria.

The difference is that in USA, he would sue the justice system and collect millions of dollars as compensation. Unfortunately, in Nigeria, his time and future wasted by the justice system is forfeited.

The man is on his own!

In the 80s a radionic was killed by firing squard at Eleyeile Polo ground. In the stake before execution, reporters were asking the condemned men to give their last words. This guy Gbenga was crying on life TV "I know nothing about the robbery"
Two or three months latter after execution some guys were caught in armed robbery. They confessed they were the ones who did the operation Gbenga was killed for.

The family was not compensated with sushi.

This is that very madness I’m talking about. I knew one n|ncompoop would justify this injustice with “it happens everywhere”
Why are you guys like this. So because it happens everywhere, it must also happen in Nigeria, right? You lots have grown insensitive all because of politics. I’m pro-Tinubu but Biko, it’s not everyone that talks about addressing the anomaly in Nigeria should be bashed and called hater. There are jobs in the US and people are living well financially, why then is same not happening here in Nigeria? Must we always make excuses and justification for bad things.
If you don’t apologize for this nonsense you posted, may the gods of the soil on which the man was born and the universe make you suffer the same fate he suffered.
Do you also know that in that USA you’re blabbing about, people like him would be compensated heavily for his wasted youth? Why is Nigeria emulating only the imprisonment and not the compensation that’s supposed to be paid?
Una mumu too much for this forum. No be everything suppose turn politics. What’s bad is bad

You are ignorant! I advise you to watch channels 170 and 171 on DSTV and see how this kind of miscarriage of justice happens also in your so-called "saner climes" (US, UK and other parts of Europe).

You folks should stop the nonsense about "Nigeria is finished", etc, etc, anytime you read any negative story.

If you had travelled enough to many countries, you would have known that many things happening in Nigeria happens in so many countries too (without prejudice to the fact we can do better as a country)...
Something like this will happen to you, it's not a curse it's an assurance

This kind of story reminds me to continue on my policy to remain non-existent in this awful jungle. If they won't allow me to live elsewhere I will remain anonymous with zero contacts in this hell hole. Just that I have to make some money to live on. That's the only annoying part.

I have ZERO business with this country and people -- not even close

Exactly what I posted before now. I suspect he must be dead out of frustration. That was why I said you’d wish your father had the kind of good life I’m having. It’s not my fault God’s awesome.
Sorry for the loss, but I can bet a grand his will be far better than yours
