It is not cuz we are older but football has gone theoretically to the extent that a talented player with great skill will be changed to a very static player.
Baba, that's why I am fighting against tiki taka. If this trend continues in the next 10 years, football will become totally artificial. God forbid

England is the most disappointing team in this Euro. I fell asleep couple of times yesterday while watching their game against Slovakia 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

When has England last played an entertaining match ??

Pass give wingers to run like cow ?
Or having a lucky opponent during World Cup and euro

When has England ever been entertaining
All because of Jude fans want them to play like prime barca 😂

All English top teams have players of other countries as the brain child of the team

that Lamine kid is one hell of a baller and a future balon d’or winner if he remains consistent

Another is Inaki Williams younger brother. Superb talent and more explosive but erratic sometimes.

The current La Roja coach is good

England are lucky to be on the RHS of the KO stages. Austria got some good ballers too. But im happy that Nico and Lamine are doing what's expected of players in their position. Ball land person feet and you're up on your seat expecting his next move diff from passing the ball back.

Everybody is saying it oo. This is a man that played this game at the highest level as arguably the best forward in history. The other day Ronaldinho was reported as saying the same thing. TheGoodJoe come and answer oo.

Football has changed and it is time people switch their watching perspective. Football use to be a technical battle. Most teams set up the same way, the 4-4-2 and let the best players with techniques win.

Today, football is a tactical game. Defending is better and we are not going to see football played as it before.

What I find most hilarious is the fact it seems the likes of Ronaldo De Lima and Ronaldinho have not understood that the current football teams will beat them at a higher rate. They still have that mirage of individually tearing teams.

Totally disagree. Backed then, Ronaldinho was a monster. You need to watch his games in 2005/2006. He was unbelievable. For instance, in 2006 Champions League, when Barcelona met AC Milan, Gattuso to me was the best defensive midfielder in the game. Ronaldinho destroyed him in the first leg. Until, Ancelotti removed him.

Before the second leg, there was so much noise that Gattuso would neutralize Dinho. For where. It was total humiliation. When he was substituted, at the bar I watched the game, there was a standing ovation with people screaming for Ronaldinho.

He was pure magic.

Very funny to hear someone call Dinho overrated

Now the World is talking about Calafiori!
I scouted him first on this space! What a player!
A left-back like Pirlo! @charlesemeka you sabi ball!
Marjoribanks:
Watch out for the new Pirlo-- Riccardo Calafiori! What a player! Spalletti must take him to euros!

I remember when I said Zirkzee is a unique talent. Many here mocked his time at Bayern.

Zirkzee will be a big time player! I believe he will fit in to ManCity style perfectly!

Let's no dally around asking such questions. Who is the Apoty? That's the kind of question you just asked me. And besides, it's a wrongly worded question. The essence of your question - since you use America - is that you are a native of the country wey you japa go because you have conquered the country and created a new nation? 🤣🤣🤣

Hausa man wey stay for your land, becomes a native abi and we often fight against fulani people as land grabbers? Una well done. Let's bring it home and contextualize it with our own ethnic nationalities and see if a Yoruba Man will agree that an hausa man is a Yoruba man.

Is a Yoruba man who as a matter of fact are many in Zaria and have been there for over a 100 years an hausa man?

I won't be responding after this sha so that it doesn't become a political discourse but my point is that Saka is not an English man.

Could it also be because we are older than most of the players now? Growing up as a passionate fan, I used to look up to their Zidane, Amokachi, Okocha, Bergkamp, Henry, Figo etc. But now that eye with which one looks at older people doing magic is gone!

Truly, tiki-taka ruined football.

The idea that today, wingers just pass back is actually not true. The modern possession game still gives room for wing forwards to express themselves.
