Can you mention their replacements by indigenous or foreign manufacturers for each of the companies listed above and their product line?
You still dey ask this nonsensical question, how many foreign investors in manufacturing did the Agulu Fraudster Gringory bring to Anambra state?

They should leave The Federal Republic of Nigeria, & never come back.

And how many foreign investors did Peter Obi chase out of Anambra and how many has Tinubu chased out of Nigeria?

Sanofi (France) and Glaxo (UK) are simply not going to survive in Nigeria selling N1,500 per pack medicine. There are many local drugs manufacturers in Nigeria now. There's also massive import of super cheap basic drugs from China and India. It is like everything, China and India are taking over.

Procter & Gamble, manufacturers of pampers simply couldn't compete with the Chinese brands. Many women will tell you some of the Chinese brands hold water better than expensive pampers.

Kimberley Clarke, another American company faced the same problems with other Western companies. They simply can't match Chinese prices for the same products. Developing countries prefer cheaper goods. Period.

And Nigeria is not the only country where this is happening. Ghana and Kenya are also seeing the departure of Western manufacturing companies.

In a lot of cases, it is an opportunity for local manufacturers.

Multinationals that have left Nigeria since when Tinubu took over in 2023:

1—Procter & Gambles - can't compete with Chinese brands
2—Unilever - no innovative products, poor marketing. Consumers moved to other products
3—GlaxoSmithKline - cheaper drug imports from India and China. Couldn't compete
4—Sanofi - couldn't compete
5—Bolt Food - most Nigerians didn't need it
6—Equinor - don't know this company
7—Jubilee Syringe Manufacturing(JSM) - cheaper imports
8—Shell - still very much in Nigeria.
9—ShopRite(Kano outlet) - Shoprite Nigeria is owned by a Nigerian.
10—Kimberly-Clark - couldn't compete with cheaper chinese products
11—PZ - did not innovate. Products became stale. People moved to alternatives
12—Microsoft - it is questionable whether Microsoft needed such a big presence in Nigeria in the first place. Most Microsoft software used here is pirated.
13— ShopRite (Abuja outlet) - owned by a Nigerian. Nothing wrong with a business re-evaluating its branch strategy. Walmart, the world's largest supermarket chain closes poorly performing branches in the US.

Please update your list and add:

Total Energy Nigeria - still heavily invested in Nigeria. They got a better deal in Mozambique. That's competition. It's not the end of the world.

Jumia Food - Jumia had no business in delivering cooked food. This sort of business may work in America, but most Nigerians don't need the service. Poor decision by Jumia. Nothing to do with government.

Tower Aluminum - I don't know much about this one.

and many more I can't really remember right now

About 600,000 businesses close down in the USA every year. From the UK, Canada, Germany to Sweden and many more, tens of thousands of businesses close every year.

It is inevitable that some businesses will close, but what is more important is the number of new businesses that are created.

Nigerians are creating businesses in their thousands daily. We need to continue to do that. Local businesses create far more jobs than foreign companies create.

We need to take advantage of any gaps left by the few foreign companies leaving.

We can do it.

Zombies sha
It nor get anything they can't say to defend their incompetent masters.

The statistics you're quoting is for small businesses which you cleverly harvested and applied to make it look as if it's businesses of all categories that suffer such fate in the US.

Now small businesses, being majorly sole proprietorship from basic economics are known to be affected by any ill that befalls their owner which means their closure is not always due to economic reasons.

But let's even assume that's the case here. If 600k small businesses fail in the US every year, while big businesses are doing well, how will it fare for small businesses in a country like Nigeria where big businesses are even failing?

Can you give us the statistics to show that small businesses fare better in Nigeria than the US?

You're just being intellectually dishonest in a bid to defend incompetence.

Another zombified reasoning.

Glaxo has been in Nigeria for tens of years boy

They are makers of that Glucose D in blue tin pack your elders in your family took while sick to keep their energy high in the 90s.

It's a wonder that according to you, Nigerians could afford Glaxo products in the 90s under military but have suddenly become too poor to afford it under your bulabla god and you think it calls for a party.

Another thing is quality. Most Asian products in developing countries are usually of inferior quality. Compare that funny looking kellogs being produced in Nigeria with the "real" Kellogs for example.

That's why adulteration is becoming a norm in Nigeria. Note also that some of those companies are exiting to embrace an import and distribution model. I don't know how you think that's a good thing for us and how local manufacturing will survive that competition with foreign goods.

Lastly, your god, when he took office, made it a cardinal point to trot about the world seeking investment. He even claimed falsely three or so investments one of which was from Maersk. Do you mean your god is thus misguided by going after foreign investments instead of supporting local manufacturing?
