zendi: You get it, perfectly! Oando shareholders have been through very difficult times. And now that there seems to be some hope, this delisting issue has cropped up. That is why some shareholders have vowed never to allow the delisting succeed. Hope SEC would be equally determined to protect shareholders interests. 1 Like |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by zendi: 5:16pm On Jun 27 |
mikeapollo: Hmn, SEC ! Did you say SEC ? A parastatal Dept of Government, Govt of the Big Guy, Who is Uncle to the cowboy, Who is taking the mega company private. I have absolute faith in SEC to do the right thing on this particular Delisting. Or is there any other thing you want to hear from my mouth? |

yMcy56: Hi keep up the good work, what do you think about buying Dangsugar at this current level? it has lost about of its value from its high, and its formed a double bottom at this level, you think its good to pack it up at this level? |

zendi: Minority can't do anything sha because they don't have the FINANCIAL muscle to flex with oga at the top if they do desire to DELIST... |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by megawealth01: 5:22pm On Jun 27 |
mikeapollo: And you think they can stop that oga at the top if he wants it delisted? |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by yMcy56: 5:28pm On Jun 27 |
MrEja:This Sugar issue eehhnn Honestly, a part of my mail to Oga BBM has to do with NS too... From the look of things, it's looking like bottoming but my concern is what the 2nd Quarter result will bring....... Although, whatever it is, the share price will likely not be battered that much again.....because it looks factored in already.... I think my TA/FA Ogas should be in better position to advice us much better. However, if you're for long term you may buy some at CP, then watch it's movement from now till Q2 is released OR till we see it bottom OR see ray of light from it's end, then you buy more. 4 Likes |

megawealth01: Well, it depends, if there are no pressure from outside. Recently, SEC rejected the buy-out of minority shareholders and delisting by PZ Cussons. Can they do same for Oando? I don't know for sure. Even if Oando want to delist, the exit price can never be the crazy N7.07. It has to be much higher than that. People who bought on the market when the price was N3-N5 would still make some money! |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by megawealth01: 5:49pm On Jun 27 |
mikeapollo: I still have good quantity of Oando although na part of my huge gains from gambling the stock... I'm not negative or positive about Oando... I'm just watchful sha |

Decipher and benefit! (see chart below) ...25--32% return is quite achievable in the near term. Mid-term? 61--85% CGY is a near 1 probability. #justvolfeed CAVEAT: NOT an investment advice. Due diligence still applies as always. It is well. 1 Like

yMcy56:From the TA perspective, If DANGSUGAR could find a good support, it can potentially rise to 56. The major question is where will the support level be? As Madam yMcy56 stated, from current price down to below 40, if a double bottom (apology to Agba) is confirmed, then we might say a bottom has been located. 1 Like

megawealth01: Even the court cannot stop delisting, because it's legal. Court can only delay it. Court can order the cowboy to go and obtain a proper shellholders ratification. And you're not a senior cowboy if you cannot dribble through a shellholders meeting. Only the miracle of a change of mind by the cowboyz can reverse the move. |

Just a quick question house. Can a broker like Morgan Capitals buy TBills for clients? Account officers are messing up from afar, and I need an alternative. @Mercy? |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by BabsO2(m): 10:44pm On Jun 27 |
mikeapollo: You wrote earlier that OANDO used to pay relatively good dividends before the upstream acquisitions. After the acquisitions things got really rough. Likely due to over-payment for the assets and the down turn in the oil industry immediately after the acquisition. Hence there is antecedent that Wale led management pays dividends when the company makes money. On the delisting issue. There is a possibility this was triggered by the power tussle to over throw Wale led management and the imposition of a new management by SEC to replace the Wale led one. Now that that tussle is over and Wale in the last AGM stated clearly that they had to pay off some shareholders, I guess the FAT troubling shareholders are already out. But since the delisting card was already started and the bus already left the station before the FAT shareholder was paid off to exit peacefully, the bus will continue in motion till it comes to a stop. Wale said delisting may happen and it may not happen. Wale said paying dividends is not an issue once the turnaround goes smoothly with distributable incomes. That this should not be an issue since they earn in $$$$$$s |

mikeapollo:SEC does not stop a coy from delisting the only thing they can do is to ask for a fair consideration for the shareholders. |

BullBearMkt: All you said is exactly what I see from my own perspective. To add to your analysis, both stocks are illiquid and in a bad run getting your money out would not be easy. Even getting your money in is not easy either. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by mikeapollo: 9:26am On Jun 28 |
talk2me2: SEC just recently declined the request of PZ Cussons to buy-out minority shareholders and delist. Do your findings. Just google it. And that put a stop to their intention to delist. As long as SEC rejects the application to delist, the company cannot delist. |
