Apart from road dualizition of Ekwulobia which started in awka, nise then agulu before nnaka and co, there’s nothing going on in that axis. Mind you that another dualization will happen from Nkwo agulu down to nnewi with a flyover at Nnobi, the people that will benefit most is agulu people

In 1976 when Imo state was created, there's much differences in the level of urban development between Orlu and Owerri (Owerri was capital of old Imo state).
It matters where who governs Imo state is from, Orlu has already been given a chance to

You can stand firmly to make your city great and viable regardless of the region that's more developed, you've to start that by loving yourselves.

The worst of the bad narratives of Imo state is about Imo becoming a state with only one modern city - Owerri - with only Owerri zone developing into one modern city, because all federal and state institutions and parastatals that are supposed to be spread all over the state to induce human and economic development to all over Imo state, were grabbed by Oru-Owerri people hiding under Owerri is state capital, and located all only in Owerri senatorial district during the military era.

First of all, you need to understand the roadmap development of Imo state very well before making a blind assertion!
Even the Owerri city is not livable and viable for human habitants unlike other cities like Port-Harcourt, Kaduna, Lagos & Onitsha.
I guess, your argument is based on the population of students in Owerri zone that bring more capital to Owerri city unlike Orlu...but even the students always run out from Owerri to their various based during holidays in order for them to feel a serenity of livable and viable city.
Therefore, every development in Imo state must be situated in Owerri city/zone otherwise it will be deteriorated, this is how it meant to be, you need to understand the roadmap development of Imo state otherwise we will just be making a pointless argument on the Internet.

Look, there's already a roadmap development of Imo state, every state in Nigeria has it's roadmap development. It's not about handling the gubernatorial seats, or being a state capital.
That's why the economy of Awka will never surpass that of Onitsha or Nnewi city.
I recently discussed with some good business oriented brothers from Awka about setting up an industry in Awka, they all complained about how the industrial activities in Awka is not viable compared to other big cities in Anambra state, this is simply a handiwork of roadmap development of a state.
There's no city in the United States that will host more multi millionaires than New York City.

There was NEVER such a plan jointly drawn up by people from Orlu and Okigwe senatorial districts to exclude Orlu and Okigwe zones from government development infrastructures to Imo state. Buffoon.

Nobody with good senses will draw a development plan for a state for development of only the zone of the state capital.
You continue to expose the primitive greed inherent in your Owerri zone which made Oru-Owerri hide under the mantra of "Owerri is state capital naa" to locate in Owerri area every single federal and state tertiary education institution, ministry, parastatal and all federal housing estates to Imo state. Even recently, a Federal university teaching hospital for Imo state is being dragged to Owerri also.
Since Owerri knows it has no cultural, no traditional, and no linguistic ties to Orlu and Okigwe areas, hence Owerri wants every govt thing to Imo state be located in Owerri area, why would Owerri campaign against the proposed Orlu state ?
