You are right, yet, it is the glorification and over-glorification of sex in this present generation...sex is important, but not the main thing.

If you live in a time period where the Catholic view of sex for procreation is dominant, then the idea of divorcing because of sexual incompatibility won't even surface. Divorce is rarely done during this period anyway.

Also, what changed the mind towards sex to the state of rottenness today are the teachings and decadence that are now prevalent in our society. The sexual liberation of women, etc.
