Also salvation is not by works or just by hearing the word, it is by conviction through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Please do not misinterpret the context of the fruit of the spirit and the fruit of the flesh.

No man, not even any GO can beat their chest boldly that someone will not give their life to christ. Their being saved is not in your hands or in the hands of your Pastor. Their being saved is through the conviction of the holy spirit. We are saved not by our work but by grace. The bible clearly says that even while we are yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Preach the gospel and leave the rest to the holy spirit to do his work. Nobody can do the work of the holy spirit. Some of we Christians have abrogated powers that we dont have. We do not have the powers to save anyone neither can we determine who want to be saved or not.

Even a very dreadful sinner can be saved. All they need is a personal encounter with Christ. E.g Apostle Paul.

Hope you know the Holy Spirit can convict a person and the yet the person will refuse to repent. God said His spirit will not continually strife with man. This is what happened to the antideluvian age.

What I mean is an individual has a choice in the matter of salvation not just the Holy Spirit, that is why Jesus said the gospel of the kingdom must be preached as a witness unto all the nations so no one will say they didn't hear. The Holy Spirit won't force anyone to repent or accept Jesus.
