The organizers of Big Brother Naija have announced that season 9 of the popular reality TV show will begin in July 2024.

The announcement was made on Sunday, June 30, 2024, via a post on the show’s official social media account.

In the post, a creative photo teased the theme of the upcoming season, accompanied by the caption, “One Sunday in July. Get ready.”

Recall in March, the show organizers revealed that unlike previous editions, the season will require participants to apply in pairs.

Okay. Good. At least I have a well-paying job to balance spending time enjoying the show. Honestly, I don tire. The program is like Nairaland these days — no change whatsoever because it remains profitable. I will skip this season. I halfheartedly watched editions past 2018’s.

Federal government quickly approved the show to distract the youths and Nigerians from the current economic hardship. Anything to distract the people would be given green light by the regime. No waste of time. Just keep them engaged with anything why we do our things. undecided

What do you expect!

If the FG was serious, that show should be done every 6 months and the cash prize should be increased.

Also, DSTV packages and beer prices should be subsidized, and the FG will be at rest.
