So which party the Government of Rivers State dey

The structure of PDP and APC is been held by Wike , so if the Governor stays with PDP the nominated folks will be from Wike so the best bet is to push their dudes to another party e.g labour and make them win all the LGA and councilor positions in the state. That's the only way he can take control

PDP not in the meeting and APC not in the meeting and you are saying the remaining political parties will carry on with the LG election. Pls how, when even Fubara party is not present so who want to conduct the election when Fubara party not present?

Is this a joke or what?

It's not a joke, Fubara's party structure is controlled by the evil man in Abuja so the best bet is to tell his loyalists to decamp and make them councilors and chairmen.

Having the election is because he doesn't want the ex chairmen to have any means of extending their tenure
Ojuntana:

grin grin
Is that how you understand it? He's in a state of dilemma yet siec under him declared date for election? Or you think siec can declare election date without the gov's approval?

How did he manage the economic indices of anambra when unemployment rose under him? Obi is poor in infrastructure, welfare, security etc. accumulation of debt is not the problem but what you do with it.
Unemployment is just one out of the many indicators and it has been shown from Nigeria's economic model that states have precious little of nothing to do with job creation. The main indices that boost job creation is corporate taxes, interest rates and VAT. None of the three is controlled by states. So how can a state govt influence job creation? The best they can do is to create more govt handout jobs which further distorts the state fiscal system or induce foreign direct investment which is not really something they have full control over as well. The main fiscal index that that affects most states in Nigeria is the debt to revenue ratio. Obi without doubt did well in this respect. Tinubu on the other hand left a worse debt to revenue ratio than he met. It is also not true to say Obi performed poorly in terms of infrastructure and security. Maybe welfare, yes I'll agree but Tinubu is not better than him in terms of infrastructure and security. Anambra was known to be more peaceful and secure during his tenure.

Obi failed to attract FDI except for few firms which he has interests in.a state can attract outside investments deliberately or I directly by its policies.see Ogun, nasarawa, Edo,akwa ibom, ebonyi etc are doing that wgile CRS ,delta etc push away firms with their harsh tax policies.there was nothing on ground to show...you can say obi saved money but it was frittered away by obiano a drunkard obi brought which shows his poor sense of judgment...
Still on employment, obi failed to add to the public service.instead he sacked more workers esp non indigenes which shows how intolerant and tribalistic he is.surely, such a person cannot rule nigeria.again,he was accused allegedly of reporting northerners.

Kidnappings was rife in abia and anambra during obi time.you remember the days of osi sikanku?
The only infrastructure obi did was the ojukwu teaching hospital and a campus of the state uni and donated buses to secondary schools.almost all the roads he did not not last.roads done by Ngige outlasted his up till now.Tinubu did far more than these and the ones he couldn't,he created a roadmap which his successors continued.
The real economist is soludo who is quietly embarking on several projects without borrowing.obi narrowly won a second term.he had to bring out an ailing Ojukwu to appeal for votes plus a pact with pdp which also shows that he was a poor leader

Which FDI is Ogun, Nasarawa, Edo, Akwa Ibom and Ebonyi attracting? Can you mention them? There is no FDI that comes to any country with high corporate taxes, VAT and interest rates as well as inflation rate. That is why you see corporates exiting Nigeria presently. The only tax states directly influence are Land USe tax and Payee and those are statutory taxes that can hardly drive investment cause they are tied to factors of production. As a matter of fact, Lagos has the highest Land use tax in the country.
Now you are blaming Obiano for "frittering" away Obi's savings while you claimed before that it is better to build infrastructure than to save. You need to stay in one place bro.
Adding to the public service is not a veritable means of employment as I already told you. Are we all not complaining that public service is overbloated? So how can employing more people be a good thing? It is private sector led jobs that are more reasonable and sustainable.
It is a lie to claim that kidnapping was rife during Obi's time. It seems you did not know Anambra in the days of Mbadinuju. Anambra was much safer when Obi was there. He improved security for Anambra.
Tinubu did next to nothing in terms of infrastructure in Lagos. In eight years, only four or five roadds could be attributed to him and four secondary schools in a state as rich as Lagos.
It is Obi who started the fiscal system that has made Anambra the state with a surplus budget in Nigeria. Check statista. Lagos deficit is the biggest among all the states in Nigeria

Deficit is not the problem but what you use the money for afterall most countries are owing.obi is just like tinubu or even worse.a wise leader will save, manage his resources and invest them which will serve the state better rather than just saving.obi is as thrifty as buhari.nigeria needs massive local and foreign investment and obi is all about savings, nothing else.under obi, anambra totally depended on federal allocation, there was little or no focus on igr.
Obi is weak in infrastructure, weak in human management.he is a religious and a tribal bigot.he is poor in workers welfare,a very bad Democrat as there was no LG elections in his tenure.
Nigeria needs a liberal, accommodating president who will stabilize and grow the economy, grow infrastructure, tackle insecurity, encourage decentralization, support local industries, support exportation, diversify our revenue base.obi can only save money, that's all.soludo has silently cleared the mess made by obiano and silently working in anambra but because he was against obi,he is hated.obi refused to grow or diversify anambra economy away from buying/selling.it is now that soludo is even trying to maximize its potentials and grow the igr.Anambra north esp towards Kogi has fertile land and soludo has started harnessing them.
Anambra is the smallest state in landmass after Lagos yet he failed to be exceptional.how would he manage Nigeria? Obi doesn't even believe in decentralization,he wants to do everything by himself.
Nigeria needs an excellent and exceptional, visionary leaders like Donald duke,Amechi,Umahi,Adesina etc with great visions.
Duke diversified the economy of CRS and made Tourism a focal point.he revived obudu cattle ranch, established Tinapa, revitalized the free trade zone, turned several rural areas into urban areas.he also focused on agriculture and lobbied for the dredging of the Calabar port.he started calabar carnival, established an airstrip at obudu.he brought several investors into CRS and privatized industries that were moribund.he put crs on the world map.this is the type of leaders we need not Obi who cant even build a standard borehole..

Wike is the one in charge of PDP and APC in Rivers state. The governor doesn't have any control over PDP in the state. So what he is going to do is that his candidates will contest the LG elections under a different party of which they will be declared winners. With time, Gov Fubara will also decamp to another political party.
Ironbull:
